A big claim has come to light regarding the ongoing tense talks between Iran and America. According to American media reports, President Donald Trump has indicated that the second round of talks between the two countries can be held in Pakistan in the next two days.
Trump made this statement in an interview with The New York Post. He said ‘You should stay there because something big can happen in the next two days and we are more than willing to go there.’
Discussion on Pakistan’s role
Trump gave credit for this possible talks to Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. He said that his role has been better, due to which there is a possibility of the talks moving forward. Geneva was also suggested as a possible location for peace talks, but Trump played down the possibility. He said why should we go to a country which has nothing to do with it?
America’s military pressure
According to reports, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has intensified actions to stop all ships heading towards Iranian ports. Centcom says the blockade is being enforced equally on ships of all countries and in the first 24 hours, six merchant ships were instructed to return. More than 10,000 American soldiers, more than 100 aircraft and 18 warships are involved in this operation.
Diplomacy and tension together
According to the American official, the talks have not been completely successful yet, but there is a possibility of agreement on many important points. Recently, 21-hour long talks held in Pakistan also ended without any final agreement as the US insisted on Iran giving up its right to nuclear enrichment. At present, both Iran and America are firm on their respective stances, but the next few days are being considered very important.

Trump In another statement, US President Donald Trump said that Pope Leo XIV does not understand the nuclear threat of Iran. ‘He (the Pope) does not understand about the war and he should not talk, because he has no idea of what is happening,’ he said in a brief phone interview with an Italian newspaper.
