Its speed is said to be around 125 knots and it is active at an altitude of about 12.6 kilometers. Due to this, fluctuations are being seen in the weather of North-Eastern states.

Two new western disturbances in the western Himalayas

The Meteorological Department has said that the Western Disturbance, which was active earlier, has now moved ahead and its effect has weakened. But now two new western disturbances are about to enter the western Himalayan region. The first system will be active from 13th February and the second from 16th February. Due to their effect, there is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Muzaffarabad on 13, 16 and 17 February. Snowfall may also occur in high altitude areas. There are chances of rain and snow in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand also on 16 and 17 February.

Impact of rain and fog in northeastern states

The cyclonic circulation over eastern Uttar Pradesh and northeastern Assam has now weakened. Due to this, the weather is gradually becoming normal in these areas. Arunachal Pradesh may receive light rain on 13 and 14 February. There is a possibility of dense fog at some places in Meghalaya in the morning till 13 February. Fog can reduce visibility and affect road and air traffic. People have been advised to be careful while traveling in the morning.

Temperature will increase in the plains

Day temperatures are gradually increasing in the plains of North India, especially Delhi-NCR and surrounding states. Light heat is starting to be felt in the afternoon. The temperature may increase further in the coming days. The night weather will remain slightly cool, but the difference in day and night temperatures will increase. The weather will be clear and the sun will be bright.
