Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, who boasted about having lunch with US President Donald Trump, has faced international embarrassment, the video of which is going viral on social media. Asim Munir has gone to Germany, where he faced a hurdle before a program. Not only this, the security officials present there also asked him to show his identity card.

Stopped for ID card, video goes viral

Actually, Asim Munir and his team went to participate in the Munich Security Conference. A video related to this surfaced on social media. In which a security officer asked the Pakistani Army Chief to show his identity card. This incident happened just a few steps before the entrance of the conference.

It can be clearly seen in the video how when Asim Munir was entering to attend the security conference, he was asked to show his ID card. Also advised to keep your identity card straight in front.

Strong objection to Munir’s participation

Here, Germany-based Sindhi political organization Jai Sindh Muttahida Mahaj (JSMM) has expressed strong objection to the participation of Field Marshal Munir in the Munich Security Conference. The organization described the invitation as ‘extremely regrettable’ and urged international stakeholders to take note of it.

Along with this, JSMM members protested outside the venue and exposed human rights violations in Pakistan. In a formal statement addressed to the United Nations, the European Union, the German government and international human rights bodies, JSMM President Shafi Burfat expressed deep shock and regret at the presence of Field Marshal Munir at the high-level global forum.
