Lalganj police station has caught a vicious thug, who was making the dream deal of unemployed youth by flaunting his police uniform. Many unemployed people have become victims of its trap. But as soon as he reached Basti district, he got trapped in his own trap and his exploits came to light. The Basti Police has arrested the person who was cheating in the name of job across the state by wearing the uniform of UP Police and sent him to jail.
Dispute between the accused and the victim
Accused Ajay reached Basti and started talking to the people who gave money in the name of job. Meanwhile, a dispute started between both the parties. After this, the victim made a video of the uniformed person and lodged a complaint with the police. After this, when the investigation of the accused started, it was found that he used to work for UP Police in Ghazipur district and he has been dismissed. Not only this, till now 6 cases have been registered against the accused in different cases.
Used to victimize youth wearing uniform
The arrested accused Ajay Kumar Jaiswal had woven such a web of fraud. Seeing which anyone would be deceived. He himself used to wear police uniform so that the youth had unwavering faith in him. The accused, pretending to be a senior officer of the NSSO (National Sample Survey Office) department, used to lure the youth into getting government jobs. Two victims from Basti have come forward who have recently become victims of this fraudster in uniform.
This was revealed in the investigation
Investigation has revealed that Ajay Jaiswal not only cheated the youth but also handed over fake appointment letters that looked identical to those of the department. In return for this trust, he was illegally extorting thousands of rupees from every youth.
The team led by Lalganj Circle DSP Kuldeep Singh Yadav caught the fraudster when he was looking for a new victim. But by the time he was successful in his objective, the accused was caught by the police and is now behind the bars.

Giving information about this incident, DSP Kuldeep Singh said that after the strict stance of the Superintendent of Police, a case has been registered against the accused under serious sections of the Indian Justice Code. The police is now investigating in depth which other white-collared people or associates are involved with Ajay in this ‘fraud syndicate’.
