
There is news of great relief for the workers in Uttarakhand. Dhami government has increased the minimum wage of workers. Unskilled workers will now get a salary of Rs 13,018. The wages of semi-skilled workers were increased to Rs 16,900. The new pay rates will be applicable from April 1, 2026. Apart from this, overtime, bonus and other benefits will also be provided.
The honorarium of workers in Uttarakhand is higher than the neighboring states. From unskilled workers to semi-skilled and skilled workers of the state, they are getting higher honorarium than the neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Bihar. To stop rumors related to workers’ salaries on social media, the Labor Commission has appealed that workers should not fall victim to any false information.
It was told that unskilled workers in Uttar Pradesh are getting Rs 12356, Himachal Pradesh Rs 11250 and Bihar Rs 11336, while in Uttarakhand unskilled workers are getting Rs 13018 for the same type of work. Similarly, semi-skilled workers in Uttar Pradesh are getting Rs 13590, Himachal Pradesh Rs 11601 and Bihar Rs 11752, while workers of the same category in Uttarakhand are getting Rs 15100. This situation is also in the case of skilled workers.
These instructions also to all the industries of the state
Skilled workers are being given Rs 15224 in Uttar Pradesh, Rs 13062 in Himachal Pradesh and Rs 14326 in Bihar. Whereas skilled workers of Uttarakhand are being paid Rs 16900. Instructions have also been given to all the industries in the state to follow the standards set for their workers. No laxity on any issue related to workers like minimum wage, overtime, bonus etc. will be tolerated by the government or the commission.
