Us: America cancels green cards of many foreign citizens, accused of supporting Iran government; Also detained – Us State Dept Revokes Green Cards Of Individuals Linked To Iranian Regime Arrested By Ice Agents

Due to the conflict between America and Israel with Iran that has been going on for more than a month, the conflict in West Asia has reached the seventh sky. Meanwhile, another major action of America has come to light. In this case, the US State Ministry canceled the long-term stay visa (green card) of some foreign citizens on the charge of supporting the government of Iran. Not only this, after the green card was canceled, he was also taken into custody by the American Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

According to the US State Department, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, niece of former Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, and her daughter were detained. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Afshar used to promote the Iranian government while living in the US and supported attacks on American troops.

Afshar accused of supporting IRGC


In this case, the Foreign Ministry also said that Afshar supported Iran’s military organization IRGC on social media and made statements against America. Afshar’s husband has also been barred from entering the US. Let us tell you that former Iranian General Qasem Soleimani was killed in an American drone attack at Baghdad Airport in January 2020.

Earlier this month, US Secretary of State Rubio also canceled the green cards of Fatimah Ardeshir-Larijani (daughter of senior Iranian leader Ali Larijani) and her husband Seyed Kalantar Motmedi. Both of them are no longer in America and have been barred from coming to America in the future.

The Foreign Ministry said that the purpose of this step is to strengthen national security. Rubio wrote in his social media post that the US “will not allow foreign nationals who support terrorist-supporting governments to remain in our country. This move comes amid rising tensions between the US and Iran, and the US is now taking a tougher stance towards those associated with Iran.”
