Issue of deaths due to cancer raised in the House
SP MLA Engineer Sachin raised the issue of deaths due to cancer. He said that more than three thousand deaths are occurring due to cancer. At the same time, more than two thousand people are dying due to hard attack. There is no budget for research on side effects after vaccination. A lot of adulterated food is being consumed in the state. What policy will the government make to prevent all this?

New hospital with 200 beds built in Chitrakoot
In response to this, Health Minister Brajesh Pathak said that we have built a new hospital with 200 beds in Chitrakoot. Where, complete facilities are being provided. Medical college is also in our list. We are continuously increasing the seats of MBBS, MCH. We are moving ahead with the idea of having a medical college in every district.

Decrease in infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate
In response to this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that today the infant mortality rate has come down to 37 in 2023. Earlier the maternal mortality rate was 167 per 1 lakh, now it has come down to 141.

Licenses of 178 hospitals canceled – Brajesh Pathak
In response, Health Minister Brajesh Pathak said that we received about 500 complaints from private hospitals, licenses of 178 hospitals were cancelled. FIR was lodged against 280 hospitals, which were running against the standards. We will definitely take action against those who target private hospitals and extort money from them.

SP MLA Atul Pradhan asked the government questions about private hospitals. Neither medicines are available in government hospitals nor tests are done? Pregnant women give birth on hospital floors. Due to this failure, patients go to private hospitals. Was any action ever taken on the complaints of private hospitals? SP government is giving double salary to Asha daughters- Brajesh Pathak
In response to this, Health Minister Brajesh Pathak said that today we are giving double the salary than the SP government. SP government used to give one thousand. We are giving an honorarium of Rs. 2,000. Today we are also giving maternity leave to Asha daughters-in-law. When they take the pregnant woman to the hospital, arrangements have also been made for her stay in the CHC. Going forward also we will focus on increasing facilities for Asha daughters-in-law.
