On Saturday, turmeric was offered to Bhole Baba with traditional rituals in the ancient Nageshwar Nath temple. The ethos of the marriage was solemnized amid the chanting of Vedic mantras, drums and chants of Har-Har Mahadev. According to the administration, more than five lakh devotees are likely to arrive. Special arrangements have been made for security and transport, so that devotees can have darshan easily.

A large number of Shiva devotees from the surrounding districts will reach Ayodhya and offer their faith by performing Jalabhishek, Dugdhabhishek and worship of Lord Bholenath in the historical Shiv temples. On Mahashivratri, the ancient Nageshwarnath temple located at Ram Ki Paadi will be opened from 3.30 in the morning.
Temple administrator Chairman Tiwari said that grand decoration of Bholenath was done on Saturday. Other ethos of marriage were fulfilled. A grand Shiva procession will take out from the temple on Sunday night. Thousands of devotees will participate in the wedding procession. Bands, chariots, forms of God will increase the attraction. This marriage procession will be welcomed at Kshireshwarnath temple. Lord Bholenath’s marriage will take place with great pomp at night.
Shivratri will be celebrated in Sarvathsiddhi and Amritsiddhi Yoga
Mahashivratri will be celebrated in Sarvathsiddhi and Amritsiddhi Yoga. Acharya Shivendra told that due to the occurrence of Uttarashadha Nakshatra on Sunday, there is a combination of Amritsiddhi Yoga and Sarvathsiddhi Yoga. Mahashivratri auspicious time today at 4:23 pm
According to Acharya Shivendra, according to the Panchang, the auspicious time of Mahashivratri will start on 15th February at 4:23 pm on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Phalgun month. The finale will be at 5:10 pm on 16th February. However, on Mahashivratri, there are rules to worship Shiva and perform Jalabhishek in all four hours of the night. Therefore Shivratri will be celebrated on 15th February only.
