Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rajya Sabha member and national spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi has blamed the frustration of the opposition and especially the Congress for the declining level of language in politics. In Amar Ujala’s special podcast ‘Unmute India’, Dr. Trivedi said that for the first time in the history of 140 years, Congress has been out of power for 10 consecutive years. Without power, Congress is struggling like a fish without water. Due to this madness, opposition leaders are using indecent and defiant language.
Coordination between science and spirituality, no need for foreign seal
On the question of making reference to Vedas, Upanishads and science along with current political topics in the debates, Dr. Trivedi said that in Indian philosophy there is no conflict between science and spirituality, but coordination. Great foreign scientists like Niels Bohr, Heisenberg and Schrödinger, considered the father of quantum physics, have openly admitted taking inspiration from the Upanishads and Vedanta philosophy.
He said that Sam Altman, the head of the company making today’s most advanced technology ‘Artificial Intelligence’, also talks about the similarity of soul and Brahma. Dr. Trivedi sarcastically said that people suffering from ‘Macaulay’s mentality’ do not accept their own rich heritage until it is branded as foreign.
Why vocal on Sabarimala and silent on Shah Bano?
BJP spokesperson gave blunt reply on Sabarimala temple controversy and allegations of discrimination against women. He said that Hinduism is the only religion in the world where Shiva and Shakti (both male and female elements) are worshiped equally. There is a special scripture in Sabarimala, which cannot be linked to gender inequality. He said that the so-called rightists who are aggressive on Sabarimala maintain complete silence on issues like triple talaq, hijab, not allowing women to travel alone and Shah Bano.
The opposition’s foreign policy criticism is foolish or evil.
Dr. Trivedi outright rejected the opposition’s allegations of running foreign policy under pressure from America or Israel. Terming it as ‘naive or evil’ of the opposition, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has achieved unprecedented diplomatic balance. Despite the Russia-Ukraine conflict and Middle East tensions, India has kept its national interests paramount. Amidst the worldwide outcry and skyrocketing prices of petrol, fuel prices in India remained stable, which is a major achievement of the government.
Youth should come out of colonial mentality of government job
Talking on the burning issue of employment, Dr. Trivedi called upon the youth to get out of the British era mentality of ‘government jobs’. He said that in today’s digital age, initiatives like Startup, Mudra Yojana and Vishwakarma Yojana have created unlimited opportunities for self-employment. The world is changing rapidly and in the coming decade, artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies will completely change the way work is done. In such a situation, instead of spending their lives on government jobs with limited success, the youth should adopt entrepreneurship and become job creators.
BJP is firm on its ideological foundation
On the question of BJP becoming completely Modi-oriented, he clarified that the Prime Minister has made India BJP-oriented. From the inception of Jan Sangh till today, BJP is the only party in the country which has never deviated from its ideological issues like Article 370, Ram Mandir, Uniform Civil Code. He said that the ideological resolutions seen 70 years ago have reached the decisive point only under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
