
Delhi Police solved two sensational cases of murder and attempt to murder while exposing a bloody gang that was spreading terror in East Delhi. Police have arrested three accused and recovered the knife used in the crime and two stolen mobile phones, including the phone of the deceased.
The accused committed a major crime in two days
According to Delhi Police, the first incident took place on February 18 at around 9:30 pm. Ghazipur resident Mohit Sharma was attacked with sharp knives by 4-5 miscreants near Utsav Ground Park. He was taken to the hospital in a bleeding condition, where his condition remains critical.
A few hours later, on the morning of 19 February, the sensation spread. When a young man was found soaked in blood in Sanjay Park. He was identified as Lukku Chaudhary alias Vikram, resident of Shashi Garden. There were many deep wounds on the body. He had died before reaching the hospital.
Delhi Police examined more than 200 CCTV footage
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Delhi Police scanned the footage of about 200 CCTV cameras and analyzed more than 14 hours of recordings. The last location of the deceased’s mobile was traced through technical surveillance, which connected the entire link.
Investigation revealed that both the incidents were committed by the same gang. Police arrested Sahil, Ansh alias King and Vipin. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused used to target lonely people in isolated places in the dark of night, attack them with knives and loot mobile phones and valuables.
