US Iran Conflict: Tension between America and Iran seems to be increasing once again. us President donald trump has claimed that three warships of the US Navy came under attack while passing through the Strait of Hormuz, although these ships did not suffer any damage. Trump said that the Iranian attackers suffered heavy losses in retaliation.
Trump’s big claim
Posting on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’, Trump said that three state-of-the-art destroyers of the US Navy successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz. He wrote that these ships were attacked, but the American warships did not suffer any damage, while the Iranian attackers were heavily damaged.
Warned of more attacks on Iran
Trump warned Iran that if Tehran does not sign the agreement soon, America will take more harsh and violent action in the future. He said that America is still ready for the agreement, but Iran will have to take a fast decision. The US Army said that action was taken against its military bases in response to Iranian attacks. America says that retaliatory military action was taken after its warships were attacked.
Tension increased again after ceasefire
This latest clash has taken place at a time when the situation had calmed down somewhat after the ceasefire that came into effect from April 8. This ceasefire came into effect after several weeks of attacks on Iran by America and Israel. Iran’s military alleged that the US targeted two ships entering the Strait of Hormuz and also carried out attacks on Iranian territory. The Joint Command of the Iranian military said that the US attacked an Iranian oil tanker and another ship in violation of the ceasefire.
Accusation of attack on civilian areas
Iran also alleged that the US carried out airstrikes on civilian areas of Qishm Island in the Strait of Hormuz and the mainland’s Bandar Khamir and Serik coastal areas. According to the Iranian army, in retaliation it targeted American military ships located in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz and south of Chabahar port.

This tension has increased at a time when Washington is waiting for Iran’s response to the US proposal.
