In the accident, Farid Ahmed, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Khalid of Bachyanwali village of Poonch district, Mukhtar Ahmed of Shindra village and Mumtaz Rashid of Thannamandi of Rajori died on the spot.

In a horrific road accident in Kuwait, five people from Pir Panjal region of Jammu and Kashmir died while the condition of one remains critical. Four of the deceased were residents of Surankote tehsil of Poonch district while one was a resident of Thannamandi tehsil of Rajouri district.
