During this period, about 150 vehicles were removed from the road and parked at safe places. Along with this, by establishing better coordination with the Administration, Public Works Department, Electricity Department, Municipal Corporation and Transport Department, all the necessary arrangements were completed on time.
43 teams from 14 police stations were deployed on duty.

PM Modi’s 12 km road show in Dehradun, ‘I have never seen such a scene before in my life’
The traffic plan was widely publicized from April 8 through FM, Facebook, Instagram and other media, so that people could get information in advance. The special thing is that despite the closure of the expressway from April 12, the traffic system of the city was not affected and remained completely normal.
During the entire program, continuous monitoring was done from the traffic control room and the police station was also included in the traffic plan. This scheme was effectively implemented under the direction of the Senior Superintendent of Police and the leadership of the Superintendent of Police Traffic.
It is noteworthy that this was the second visit of the Prime Minister within the last six months, which was successfully completed by the Dehradun Traffic Police without any jam. This success is the result of their better planning, coordination and hard work.
