New Delhi. Bata Shoe Organization, the footwear giant Bata Shoe Organization, has announced its India’s CEO Sandeep Katario to appoint CEO post at the global level on 30 November. The company has said in a statement that Kataria is the first Indian to work on global role in Bata. He will replace Alexis Nasard. Nusard is leaving after working for 5 years after working. Know who is Sandeep Kataria
The 1993 PGDBM batch is a gold medalist from Kataria XLRI, engineering from IIT-Delhi. He has a 24 -year work experience. He has worked in Unilever, Yum Brands and Vodafone in India and Europe. Kataria stayed in Consumer Goods Company Unilever for 17 years. Before coming to Bata India, he was the Chief Commercial Officer in Vodafone India.
In July 2017, Sandeep Bata joined India and two years later, the President of India Region was made. Bata India’s profit in Kataria’s leadership became double. Topline growth was also in double digit. He pulled the youth towards him by presenting Bata in a new cluster and flavor. In 2019-20, Bata India’s net profit was Rs 327 crore and revenue was Rs 3053 crore.

Story from a bankrupt laborer to owner
The Bata family living in a small town Jlin in the European country Czechoslovakia was living by making shoes for many generations. The years passed amidst the conflicts. In 1894, the fate of this family overturned when son Tomas had great dreams. He made his sister Anna and brother Antonin his associate to make the family industry professional. With great difficulty, siblings persuaded the mother and received 320 dollars from them. After this, he hired two rooms in the village and took two sewing machines on installments, bought raw materials by taking loans and started business.
Learned work by becoming laborers in shoe company
Tomas G. After leaving the business of his siblings, Bata did not let the frustration dominate herself and in just 6 years, the work was brought to such a situation that now the shop started getting small. Tomas had to take heavy debt to increase business. There was a time when they did not pay the loan on time, they had to go bankrupt. In such a situation, Tomas and his three employees learned work by becoming a laborer in a new England shoe company for six months. During this time, he looked closely at the functioning of many companies and returned home considering their functioning. Here he started work in a new way. In 1912, Tomas gave jobs to 600 laborers and provided hundreds of work in their homes. Bata’s exclusive stores installed with production plans to sell.
After the World War, Bata made tremendous progress and expanded by the formula to reduce the price. Bata’s shoe production increased by about 15 times and spread to about 27 countries. India was also one of them. The retail chain of Bata Stores also became a hit and hundreds of franchises started opening. Meanwhile, Bata expanded the company by making 50 years ahead thinking 50 years ahead and by creating products like socks, leather things, chemicals, tires, rubber items. Now Bata Shu was established as a group, not just a company. Soon Bata became the world’s biggest shoe exporter. Tomas Bata built his headquarters in a building that is considered the tallest concrete building in Europe. On July 12, 56 -year -old Tomas Bata passed away in an aerial accident.
