A ray of relief is visible in the domestic stock market on the fourth trading day of the week. The major indices of the market, which have been facing selling pressure for the last few days, are seen trading in the green mark on Thursday. At 9.22 am, Sensex rose by 448.92 (0.60%) points to reach 75,057.90, while Nifty rose by 139.11 (0.59%) points to reach 23,551.70.
In early trading on Thursday, more than 25 out of 30 Sensex stocks were seen trading in the green. Shares like Adani Ports, Asian Paints and Trent gained over 1.5%. However, there was a decline in IT shares. Shares of Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys and HCLTech were seen trading in the red. The rupee fell 8 paise to 95.74 against the dollar in early trade.
