Tamil Nadu: Departments divided in Tamil Nadu government, know which ministry CM Vijay kept with himself – Portfolios Allocated In Tamil Nadu Government For 10 Ministers, Including Chief Minister Vijay

Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha has allocated the portfolios of ministers on Saturday. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s name is also included in this. A total of 10 ministers have been assigned their departments. Earlier on May 10, TVK chief and actor-turned-politician C Joseph Vijay was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Chief Minister Vijay kept the maximum number of ministries with himself.

He has retained the departments of Public, General Administration, IAS, IPS, IFS, District Revenue Officer, Police, Home, Special Program Implementation, Women Welfare, Youth Welfare, Children, Elderly and Disabled, Municipal Administration, Urban and Water Supply departments.

  • Aadhav Arjuna – Minister of Public Works and Sports Development.

  • Dr. K.G. Arunraj – Minister of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare.

  • K.A. Sengottaiyan – Finance Minister.

  • P. Venkataramanan – Minister of Food and Civil Supplies.

  • R. Nirmal Kumar – Minister of Energy Resources and Law.

  • Rajmohan – Minister of School Education, Tamil Development, Information and Public Relations.

  • Dr. T.K. Prabhu – Minister of Natural Resources.

  • Selvi S. Kirtana: Industries Minister.

Earlier, the Vijay-led TVK government had won the trust vote in the Assembly by getting the support of more than 140 MLAs. It is noteworthy that TVK chief Vijay’s party had performed brilliantly in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. TVK had emerged as the largest party in the state. TVK could not succeed in touching the majority mark.

After this Vijay had appealed to many small parties of the state to join him. After this, rebel AIADMK MLAs including IUML, CPI, CPM and Congress also supported Vijay. On the strength of all these MLAs, Vijay won the trust vote for his government in the majority test.
