India has shown a brilliant performance so far in the ICC T20 World Cup. The team has reached Super 8 without losing a single match in the group stage. India won against UAE by 29 runs and then defeated Namibia by 93 runs. After this, a spectacular victory of 61 runs was achieved against Pakistan. Defeated Netherlands by 17 runs in the last group match.

By winning how many matches will one get entry into the semi-finals?
Two groups have been formed for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup. At the beginning of the tournament, 4 groups of 20 teams were formed in which 5-5 teams were placed. The top 2 teams of each group reached the Super-8. If Team India wins all three out of its three matches in this round, then it will get a direct ticket for the semi-finals. The Indian team can reach the semi-finals even by winning 2 out of 3 matches, but its decision will be decided by the net run rate of the other teams of the group. To make it to the last four, every team must win at least two matches.
Net run rate will be most important
The Indian team has registered a resounding victory in all three matches so far and its net run rate is the best in this group. India’s net run rate is above 2.5 while South Africa, Zimbabwe and West Indies are behind by more than 2 points. If we understand in simple words, if Team India wins two matches in Super-8 then it will get 4 points. Suryakumar Yadav’s team will have to be ahead in net run rate with the team which has equal points to India. Only then will you get the ticket for the semi-finals
