Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, who reached Moradabad, has raised questions on the ongoing SIT (Special Investigation Team) investigation in the Ram Temple offering theft case. He said that the investigation is being postponed repeatedly by saying 7 days, 15 days. Shankaracharya gave an open challenge to the accusers and said that if anyone has any evidence against him then they should bring it forward. Along with this, he also reiterated the demand to give the status of ‘Mata’ to mother cow.
Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, who reached Moradabad as part of the Gau Mata Samashti Yatra, openly expressed his views on the issue of theft of Ram temple offerings. He said that the SIT investigation is continuously getting delayed. First 3 days, then 7 days, then 15 days were given, but till now no report has come out. He said that there should be no unnecessary delay in the investigation and the truth should come out to the public soon.
Allegations of taking donations rejected
Shankaracharya also completely rejected the allegations of taking donations made against him. He said that if someone says that he has collected donations by going from village to village, then tell the name of the village and accompany him with the camera. If the allegations are proved then he is ready to answer every question.
Demand to declare cow as mother cow
He told that his Gau Mata Samashti Yatra started from Gorakhpur on May 3 and will reach all the 403 assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh. He claimed that lakhs of people have taken a pledge to protect Mother Cow. He also demanded from the government that cow should be declared not just an animal but mother cow.
