
Global pop icon Shakira’s India concert has been postponed due to conflict in West Asia. Shakira was scheduled to have a concert in India in April. But, now it has been postponed. A post on the Instagram handle of District Updates said that Shakira’s ‘Feeding India’ concert has been postponed.
Organizers said- ‘Team safety is top priority’
Shakira’s concert was scheduled in Mumbai on 10 April at Mahalaxmi Racecourse and in Delhi on 15 April at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. But amid tensions in West Asia, organizers said, ‘The safety of our fans, artists and production team is our top priority. All ticket holders will be refunded the full amount, which will be automatically credited to their original payment medium.
New date not decided
Concert organizers said, we are working with Shakira’s team to set a new date. As soon as the date is decided, everyone will be informed. Due to the current geopolitical situation and regional tensions, Shakira’s ‘Feeding India Concert’ has been postponed until further notice. The organizers said that ‘Feeding India Concert’ has always stood for a greater cause and our commitment remains the same even today.
