Satna News: Huge ruckus during removal of encroachment in Satna, SDM and TI narrowly escaped, many in custody

A huge ruckus broke out during the removal of encroachment in Dalibaba area of ​​City Kotwali police station area in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. Local people suddenly pelted stones at the Municipal Corporation and administration team.

The situation became so out of control that the police had to fire in the air and use tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. Three policemen were injured in this fierce stone pelting, while SDM (SDM) Rahul Siladiya and Station Incharge (TI) Ravendra Dwivedi narrowly escaped.

Suddenly stone pelting started from behind the houses

According to the information, construction was done by some people by illegally occupying a private land in Dalibaba area. After receiving the complaint, the anti-encroachment team of the administration and the Municipal Corporation reached the spot with a JCB. As soon as the team started the process of demolishing the illegal building, some anti-social elements, taking cover of nearby houses, started pelting heavy stones on the administrative staff. The stone pelting was so intense that the officers and employees present on the spot had to run here and there to save their lives.

Situation brought under control through aerial firing and tear gas

Seeing the situation worsening, additional police force was immediately called to the spot. The police force arrived in large numbers and converted the entire area into a cantonment. To disperse the miscreants and bring the situation under control, the police fired tear gas shells and two rounds in the air. After this the situation gradually came under control.

Many people detained, illegal encroachment demolished

Satna police took immediate action and took into custody two men and a woman involved in stone pelting. On the basis of video and CCTV, other accused have been identified and searched for.

After the uproar subsided, the administration again started the action to remove the encroachment amidst tight security arrangements and the disputed illegal encroachment was razed to the ground. At present, heavy police force is deployed in the area and the situation is completely under control. SDM Rahul Siladia has made it clear that any kind of illegal encroachment on government or private lands will not be tolerated and such strict action will continue in future also.
