The policemen deployed on the spot showed promptness and stopped him from setting fire and tried to calm him down. Videos of the incident are now on social media, in which the screams of the woman can be heard. The woman alleges that no action was taken in her case for several months. Police said that the matter is being investigated and necessary steps will be taken.
The victim alleged
The victim alleged that a man from Panipat raped her and even after four months the accused was not arrested. There was no immediate comment from the police in this matter and Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora could not be contacted.
Gurugram Police later neither confirmed nor denied the incident in an official statement, but said the accused would be arrested soon. At present the victim is pleading for justice from the authorities.

The victim had shared a video on social media before attempting suicide. Also, the victim had informed the police officials about this through email. After the video, the policemen swung into action and snatched the matchbox and petrol bottle from the victim’s hand. Presently this incident created a stir in the area.
