The impact of the international situation and rising inflation has now reached the common people in Rampur, UP. The sudden increase in the prices of commercial gas cylinders in Rampur has broken the backs of dhaba and hotel operators. The situation has become such that running a business is becoming difficult, while customers also seem to be angry about the expensive food.
The vegetarian dhaba named ‘Radha Radha Saini’, located near the district hospital in the police station area of Rampur, has been popular among the people for a long time. People come here from far and wide to eat, but now the rising prices of commercial gas have increased the worries of the dhaba operators.
Difficulties for dhaba operators increased due to increase in gas prices
Dhaba operator Mukesh Saini says that due to increase in gas prices the expenses are continuously increasing, while the number of customers is also being affected. To reduce costs, he now reaches the dhaba at 5 in the morning and prepares most of the vegetables in the tandoor, so that gas consumption can be reduced.
Impact on the income of dhaba operators
He said, “At present the prices of food have not been increased, but if gas prices continue to rise like this, then we will be forced to increase the rates.” At the same time, whenever there is talk of increasing the prices, customers get angry and leave the dhaba, due to which the income is also being affected.
‘Compulsion to come early in the morning and cook food on tandoor’
The Dhaba operator further said that he is facing a lot of problems due to the increase in the price of commercial gas. One has to come early in the morning and cook food on tandoor so that gas can be saved. Till now we have not increased the prices of food, but if the rates continue to increase like this, we will also be forced to increase the prices. Earning is not like before, now we are just managing somehow.
Small businessmen face trouble due to increase in gas prices
The rising prices of commercial gas have created a big crisis for small businessmen. If relief is not provided soon, its impact will be clearly visible not only on business but also on the pockets of the general public.
