
A major development has come to light amid the ongoing farmers’ movement in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was detained by the police when he was arriving to join the movement and support the farmers.

To further strengthen this movement, the United Kisan Morcha had on Monday called upon a large number of farmers to unite. After this call, farmers from different areas reached Bhubaneswar and joined the movement.
