What did Raju Hirani say on ‘Munnabhai 3’?
Raju Hirani recently talked about the third part and said that the third film will come only when he gets a great idea. Let us tell you that Rajkumar Hirani debuted as a director in the year 2003 with ‘Munnabhai MBBS’. Its sequel ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ came in the year 2006. Both the films got a lot of love from the audience. In both the films, Sanjay Dutt played the character of the amiable goon Munna. Whereas, Arshad Warsi played the role of his loyal companion Circuit.

Recently, Rajkumar Hirani said in an interview to news agency PTI, ‘Circuit was always there and he was a fun character, but obviously Arshad brought life to it. Then for the second film it became necessary to make it stronger, so you will see that Circuit has more things to do in the second film. Let us tell you that Rajkumar Hirani is once again working with Arshad Warsi in his upcoming series ‘Pritam and Pedro’.
Comparison with Lord Ram and Hanuman?
Raju Hirani said that the character of Circuit was conceived as a symbol of Munna’s unwavering loyalty. He compared their relationship with Lord Ram and Hanuman. And also the relationship between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. He further said, ‘Sherlock needs a friend to help him with whatever he has to say, so the character was written in such a way that if Munna has something to say, even though he has a gang, Circuit is his loyal friend. We thought that Circuit is like Hanuman and Munna is like Ram for him. He won’t ask questions. If ‘Bhai’ said so, he would do it, without any questions or answers.
When will ‘Pritam and Pedro’ be released?
Arshad Warsi also said about the popularity of this character, ‘Everyone wants a circuit in their life. I want too. The actor said that he did not know much about Hirani at that time, but when he heard the script of ‘Munnabhai MBBS’, he was impressed by the filmmaker’s way of telling the story. Talking about ‘Pritam and Pedro’, with this, Rajkumar Hirani’s son, Veer Hirani is entering the world of acting. This is also the filmmaker’s first step into the OTT space.
