
In Dungarpur, elder brother has murdered younger brother’s wife. The accused brother hit the woman on the head with an iron rod. Due to which the woman died on the spot. A sensational incident has come to light from Oberi police station area of Dungarpur district, where relatives were murdered. In Rajpur village, a brother-in-law brutally murdered his own younger daughter-in-law, i.e. younger brother’s wife.
After a minor altercation, the accused got angry and attacked the woman on the head with an iron rod, due to which she died on the spot. The police have taken the accused into custody, but the real reason for the murder still remains a mystery. This soul-shattering incident took place in Rajpur village.
The deceased woman’s husband had gone to Banswara.
According to Oberi police station, the accused Shantilal Bhagora used to work as a laborer outside for the last 20 years and was at home for the last 5 months. The incident took place when Shantilal’s younger brother Jeevatram, who works in a finance company, had gone to Kushalgarh in Banswara for his work.
Shantilal suddenly entered Jeevatram’s room from behind and attacked his wife Pramila with an iron rod. By the time other members of the family reached the spot after hearing Pramila’s scream, she had already died.
Local police team reached the spot
As soon as information about the incident was received, Oberi police station officer Ramesh Kumar reached the spot with the entire team. FSL team was also called to collect evidence. Here, people from the maternal side of the deceased reached the spot and created a ruckus, due to which the situation became tense. After several hours of consultation, the police pacified the family members and sent the body to the mortuary of Sagwada Hospital.
The police have taken the accused brother-in-law Shantilal into custody and he is being interrogated. After post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the relatives. However, till now it is not clear why Shantilal committed this bloody incident.
