Left home and went to Ayodhya at the age of 11

Presently the family of Baba’s family brother Dharamveer Singh Yadav lives in Nagla Bhupal. Here, Baba’s elder brother Keshav Singh lives with his family in Hathwant block. Keshav Singh has a silversmith’s shop in the town itself. According to Keshav Singh, his disciple Hariom had informed him on the phone about the incident with Baba around 5 am on Saturday morning. As soon as he received the information, he left for Mathura with his family. According to Keshav Singh, Chandrashekhar Maharaj had gone to Ayodhya after leaving home at the age of 11. There he played an active role in the Ram Mandir movement and later created a distinct identity for himself. Because of carrying an axe, he became famous by the name of Farsa wale Baba.

dedicated life to cow service

Keshav Singh told that Chandrashekhar Maharaj was of detached nature since childhood. He was reported to be in Mathura about 40 years ago. The family members went to bring him back home and pleaded a lot, but he refused. Baba said that now his life is dedicated only to the service of mother cow. Due to this determination, he did not marry and stayed away from worldly bonds. Keshav Singh told with tears in his throat that when he came to know about this incident on Saturday morning, the entire family was immersed in grief. Baba did not attend family functions, but whenever he got information about any religious event in the village, he would definitely come.

The game of checkmate between the police and the protesters continued on the highway for four hours.

The game of check-mate continued between the protesters and the police for about four hours on the Agra-Delhi Highway (NH-19). The police were trying to somehow remove Baba’s body, while the protesters did not want to allow Baba’s body to be taken away at any cost. This struggle led to struggle. The protesters chased away the policemen several times by pelting stones, but the policemen also tried to move ahead, sometimes by releasing tear gas and sometimes by reprimanding them with batons.

At around 7 in the morning, the protesters reached the highway with Baba’s dead body and blocked it. Accepting the demands of the protesters here, the officials assured the Gosevaks of getting arms licenses. Some people agreed with this but some others started alleging that there was a setup. Just what then. An uproar broke out. Within no time the protesters became enraged and started creating ruckus on the highway. When the police tried to stop him, the matter became worse. Suddenly stone pelting started and first of all stones were pelted on the vehicles of officers and policemen. Surprisingly, some women also took part in stone pelting. The protesters pelted stones and chased the policemen away. More than 27 policemen and other people were injured in this.
