4 NFL teams to invest in and short at the sportsbooks after the 2026 regular-season schedule release show

Time to lock in. For me, the NFL season officially begins after its schedule release show.

Because, honestly, betting on regular-season baseball sucks, the NBA Playoffs don’t have that many games going on right now, and I don’t bet hockey.

Instead, I just do deep dives into the roster moves, coaching changes and regression metrics to begin investing in NFL futures.

So, in celebration of the NFL’s new fiscal year, here are four teams I’m buying stock in or shorting this season.

Carolina Panthers: NFC South (+310)

This is an easy fade candidate after winning the NFC South last season with a losing record (8-9), going 7-3 in one-score games, which usually regress year over year (see the Kansas City Chiefs’ record in one-score games in 2024 and 2025) and has the third-toughest schedule this season.

Plus, every year, five teams that made the playoffs the previous year don’t return to the postseason.

However, the Panthers made two huge additions to their defense, including LB Devin Lloyd and pass-rusher Jaelan Phillips, who were Pro Football Focus’s (PFF) fourth- and 15th-ranked free agents. Lloyd was a second-team All-Pro last season and PFF’s third-best linebacker in the NFL.

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

The Miami Dolphins traded Phillips to the Eagles before Week 10 last season, and he made a big impact on Philadelphia’s defense. From Weeks 1-9, the Eagles ranked 17th in defensive EPA/play, per RBSDM.com. After acquiring Phillips, Philly’s defensive EPA/play went to seventh from Weeks 10-18.

More importantly, the NFL is a quarterback-driven league and I’m a believer in Panthers QB Bryce Young as a franchise quarterback worthy of a second contract.

Young was third in fourth-quarter comebacks last season and second in game-winning drives, which is the essence of playing quarterback.

Carolina’s offensive line is solid at every position and WR Tetairoa McMillan won the 2025 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Between their defensive additions and my hunch that Young will improve, I’ll take the PANTHERS to win the NFC South (+310) again, which is the softest division in the NFL.

Denver Broncos: UNDER 7.5 alternate wins (+280)

I might have to eat crow if the Broncos make the playoffs again this season, but I refuse to believe QB Bo Nix, who fractured his ankle in Denver’s win over the Buffalo Bills in the 2026 AFC Wild Card Round, is a franchise guy.

Frankly, I could just be a hater and stuck on my pre-draft analysis of him because what I wrote about Young’s fourth-quarter comebacks and game-winning drives last season applies to Nix.

Regardless, I’m holding the line with my Nix instinct because I just feel like his success is a combo of dumb luck, his surrounding talent and Denver head coach Sean Payton’s smoke-and-mirrors offensive scheme.

The Broncos traded for WR Jaylen Waddle this offseason, but he is more of a No. 2 guy than a game-breaker and wide receivers are overrated in terms of impacting wins and losses.

Meanwhile, they have a ton of signs pointing toward regression this season, such as its first-place schedule (11th-easiest), above-average injury luck (eighth in “adjusted games lost to injury,” per FTN Fantasy), and going an unsustainable 11-2 in one-score games.

Denver’s first six games are brutal, too. The Broncos play Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 1, the reigning AFC South champion Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, the Super Bowl 2027 betting favorite Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, at the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4, at the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5 and the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in Week 5.

Furthermore, the AFC West has two legitimate Super Bowl contenders, Kansas City and the Los Angeles Chargers, both of whom have better odds of winning the division, conference and Lombardi Trophy.

Since team win total bets don’t usually come down to a half-game, there is value in their alternate win totals, Under and Over, aka “playing the longtail”.

And I don’t like laying -110 or worse for a future. Hence, I’m betting BRONCOS UNDER 7.5 ALTERNATE WINS (+280) at DraftKings with the notion that they face-plant this season and Nix gets exposed.

Tennessee Titans: OVER 8.5 Alternate Wins (+250) & Robert Saleh to win NFL Coach of the Year (+1000)

The Titans are +320 to make the playoffs at DraftKings and the Over for their 8.5-alternate win total is +250, which isn’t that much lower. There’s a solid chance they win 9+ games and don’t make the playoffs.

Also, if Tennessee wins what I think will be a competitive AFC South this season, between the Titans, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, Saleh’s odds to be the NFL Coach of the Year will close lower than +1000 and the Titans are just +800 to win the division.

THE COLTS CHANNELED “THE SIMPSONS” FOR THEIR SCHEDULE RELEASE, AND IT’S A MASTERPIECE

That said, I endorse them hiring Saleh to be their head coach, and I like their core: Saleh, first-year offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, QB Cam Ward.

It didn’t work for Saleh when he was the New York Jets’ head coach from 2021 to Week 5 of 2024. I’m not holding that against him, though, because the Jets are cursed. If you don’t believe me, ask any NYJ fan; they’ll tell you.

Anyway, Saleh is a good defensive coach and that side of the ball wasn’t the problem while he was their head coach. His downfall with the Jets was that the organization couldn’t find a quarterback.

But Saleh doesn’t have an excuse with the Titans. Ward is his franchise quarterback and Daboll, who also had a bad quarterback in New York, with the Giants.

Yet, Daboll won the 2022 NFL Coach of the Year award and at least had a small part in developing Josh Allen when he was the Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator from 2018-21. Together, Saleh and Daboll could work.

The biggest question is, “How good is Ward?” Well, I’m a shareholder in “Ward as a franchise quarterback” and I’ll buy more of his stock if you’re selling. Ward has 90% arm strength; he’s athletic enough to play the position in 2026, makes throws on the run and plays with his legs.

By drafting Carnell Tate fourth in the NFL Draft last month, the Titans are at least trying to get Ward a No. 1 wide receiver. And they signed a solid slot receiver, Wan’Dale Robinson, in free agency.

In fact, Tennessee spent the most in free agency this offseason, so Daboll and Saleh got to build a roster that fits their systems.

If Ward is who I think he is, Saleh makes their defense league average and Daboll returns to being a good offensive coordinator, the Titans can overperform their betting odds this season.

For the record, I’m betting three-fourths of a unit on Tennessee’s alternate win total and the other quarter-unit on Saleh winning NFL Coach of the Year.

Minnesota Vikings: NFC North (+550)

I’m buying stock in the Vikings signing QB Kyler Murray on a team-friendly deal this offseason after he pretty much busted as the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Murray has something to prove and could get a raise if he has a solid year in Minnesota this season. Sam Darnold is an example of a castoff quarterback who had something to prove and did so with the Vikings.

With that in mind, this is a great second chance for Murray, who has a higher ceiling and floor than QB J.J. McCarthy. Murray has made the playoffs once and two Pro Bowl teams. He is one of the elusive runners in football and has a cannon.

Whereas the Vikings immediately regretted choosing McCarthy over Darnold last offseason. McCarthy was one of the worst quarterbacks in the league last year and Darnold won a Super Bowl. That’s a tough look and it effectively got their now-former general, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, fired at the end of last season.

Nonetheless, Minnesota fourth-year head coach Kevin O’Connell can build a winning team around Murray as his quarterback. O’Connell has a 43-25 career record with 13- and 14-win seasons with Darnold and Kirk Cousins and won the 2024 NFL Coach of the Year award.

The Vikings have one of the best pass-catching crews in the NFL, featuring a top-five game-breaker in the business, Justin Jefferson, WRs Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings and TE T.J. Hockenson.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson runs with the ball after a catch vs. the Chicago Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Minnesota defensive coordinator Brian Flores is one of the best defensive minds in football and will get another NFL head-coaching job.

My biggest concern is the division. The NFC North is the most competitive division in the league and all four teams could win it.

The bottom line is that, considering their talent and coaching staff, the Vikings could be the NFL’s “worst to first” team this season and their +550 odds to win the NFC North should be closer to +400.

LT Foods posts 26% revenue jump in FY26, but margins slip on US tariff impact

0

LT Foods Limited reported a 26 per cent year-on-year jump in consolidated revenue to ₹11,023 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, driven by broad-based growth across geographies. EBITDA rose 16 per cent to ₹1,236 crore. Profit after tax, however, grew only marginally to ₹625 crore from ₹612 crore a year ago.

The company’s stock closed at ₹409.35 on the NSE on May 15, down 0.40 per cent on the day, giving it a market capitalization of approximately ₹14,199 crore.

The headline revenue growth was partly inflated by a US tariff pass-through of ₹561 crore, which was added to both revenue and cost of goods sold at zero margin. Stripping this out, normalized revenue growth stands at 19 per cent and the normalized EBITDA margin at 11.8 per cent, compared to the reported 11.2 per cent. The company said absolute EBITDA in rupees was unaffected.

North America remained the largest geography, contributing 48 per cent of revenue and posting 53 per cent reported growth — 9 per cent on a normalized basis. The company’s Royal brand commands over 60 percent share of Basmati rice imports in the US. Europe grew 34 per cent, with LT Foods targeting £100 million in UK revenues over five years. The India business grew 10 per cent in value and 12 per cent in volume, with quick commerce and e-commerce channels expanding over 45 per cent.

The Basmati and Specialty Rice segment, which accounts for 88 per cent of revenue, grew 29 per cent to ₹9,742 crore. The Organic Foods and Ingredients segment grew 9 per cent to ₹1,016 crore but posted an EBITDA margin of only 5.8 per cent, weighed down by the ongoing Countervailing Duty case involving subsidiary Ecopure Specialties, capacity investments in Europe, and consumer packaged goods transition costs. The US Department of Commerce revised Ecopure’s CVD rate from 340.27 per cent to 75.48 per cent in February 2026; the company has appealed further.

Q4 FY26 PAT fell 15 per cent to ₹136 crore from ₹161 crore a year earlier, hit by higher brand spend, UK scale-up costs, and one-time inventory and tariff expenses in the US.

OpenAI caught in TanStack npm supply chain chaos after employee devices compromised

Attackers stole a limited amount of internal credential material after malware hidden in poisoned packages reached two staff machines

OpenAI says attackers behind the TanStack npm supply chain compromise stole internal credentials after reaching two employee devices, forcing the company to rotate signing certificates for several desktop products.

The company disclosed this week that it had been caught up in the wider “Mini Shai-Hulud” campaign targeting npm ecosystems and developer infrastructure, though it said there was no evidence that customer data, production systems, or deployed software were compromised.

OpenAI said the incident happened during a phased rollout of new supply chain security controls introduced after a previous Axios-related incident. According to the company, the two compromised employee devices had not yet received updated package management protections that would have blocked the malicious dependency.

The attackers carried out “credential-focused exfiltration activity” against a limited set of internal repositories reachable from the affected employee machines, according to OpenAI. It said “only limited credential material was successfully exfiltrated from these code repositories.”

That was apparently enough to trigger a precautionary reset across multiple products. OpenAI is rotating the certificates used to sign macOS versions of ChatGPT Desktop, Codex App, Codex CLI, and Atlas, and is requiring users to update the affected software by June 12.

The incident ties OpenAI to the increasingly messy supply chain campaign that has spent the past several weeks worming through npm ecosystems, CI/CD infrastructure, and GitHub Actions workflows. Security firm Socket linked the TanStack compromise to the broader “Mini Shai-Hulud” operation, which abused poisoned automation workflows and stolen publishing credentials to push malicious package updates into trusted software pipelines.

Researchers tracking the wider Mini Shai-Hulud campaign have connected the activity to a threat group known as TeamPCP, which appears to have developed an unhealthy interest in poisoning npm ecosystems and rifling through developer credentials.

TanStack confirmed this week that 84 malicious package versions spanning 42 @tanstack/* packages had been published after attackers compromised parts of its release infrastructure. The poisoned packages were designed largely to steal credentials, including GitHub tokens, cloud secrets, npm credentials, and CI/CD authentication material.

The campaign appears linked to earlier Mini Shai-Hulud attacks involving SAP-related npm packages, suggesting the same credential-stealing operation is spreading across multiple developer ecosystems.

OpenAI said it is continuing to investigate the incident and monitor for any downstream abuse tied to the stolen credentials.

The reassuring news is that OpenAI says no production systems were breached. The less reassuring news is that attackers keep getting deeper into the software assembly line before anybody notices. ®

Ukraine attacks Russia with drones after suffering three days of massive strikes | Ukraine

0

Ukraine has launched a large-scale long-range drone attack targeting several regions in Russia including the huge Ryazan oil refinery, after three days of massive strikes by Moscow against Ukraine.

Kyiv’s attack on Friday followed a series of drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, including on the capital, Kyiv, where a cruise missile hit an apartment block on Thursday, killing 24 people including three children.

The final death toll in Kyiv emerged as emergency teams finished digging through the rubble of a nine-storey block which was hit in what the Ukrainian air force said was Russia’s biggest barrage of the country since it launched its all-out invasion in February 2022.

As Ukraine announced a national day of mourning, the Council of Europe said on Friday, during a summit of 46 European foreign ministers in Moldova, that it was moving towards setting up a war crimes court to try Russia’s leadership for its war of aggression against Ukraine.

“Action now needs to be taken to follow up on this political commitment by securing the tribunal’s functioning and funding,” said Alain Berset, the secretary general of the Council of Europe.

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, visiting the site of the destroyed apartment block in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, on the left bank of the Dnipro River, placed flowers and spoke to rescue workers.

“Our first responders … worked non-stop for more than a day,” Zelenskyy said on the Telegram app.

“The Russians practically levelled an entire section of the building with their missile,” he said. Zelenskyy has said that, according to initial analysis, the weapon that struck the building was a recently manufactured Russian Kh-101 missile.

Russia, which began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, launched more than 1,500 drones and dozens of missiles in attacks across Ukraine this week over three consecutive days, Ukrainian officials said.

“A Russia like this can never be normalised, a Russia that deliberately destroys lives and hopes to remain unpunished. Pressure is needed,” Zelenskyy said, reiterating appeals to allies to help Ukraine strengthen its air defences.

City officials in Kyiv said 24 bodies had been recovered from the rubble and about 30 people had been rescued alive. Nearly 50 people were wounded, and about 400 people required psychological support, the interior ministry said.

Russia did not immediately comment on the strike on the apartment building. Moscow denies deliberately targeting civilians but during more than four years of war it has frequently hit residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure in airstrikes across Ukraine.

Russian authorities said four people, including a child, had been hit in the Ukrainian strikes. Russia’s investigative committee said it had opened a terrorism investigation after the strikes, saying they had targeted “residential and civilian infrastructure”.

“Two residential multistorey buildings and an industrial facility were damaged,” it said.

Witnesses suggested the target of the strikes in Ryazan appeared to be the oil refinery, one of Russia’s largest, which was engulfed in a large blaze after being hit by several impacts.

Kyiv officials announced a day of mourning on Friday to honour the victims, with national flags at half-mast across the city of 3 million people. All entertainment events were cancelled or postponed.

The interior ministry said the search-and-rescue operation at the apartment building lasted more than 28 hours and hundreds of rescuers sifted through 3,000 cubic metres of rubble.

NFL Thanksgiving Eve game on Netflix draws Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s criticism

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

After the National Football League announced its inaugural Thanksgiving Eve game, a U.S. senator was not pleased.

The Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams will face off in Inglewood, California, on Thanksgiving Eve, and the game is set to be broadcast exclusively on Netflix.

That, of course, requires a paid subscription, which is unacceptable for Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.).

Baldwin last month introduced a bill that would give fans free live broadcasts of their home state’s professional sports teams. Shortly after the NFL’s announcement, she ripped them.

“As the cost of just about everything continues to rise, the NFL is once again asking Wisconsinites to spend their hard-earned money on another streaming service. Enough is enough,” Baldwin said in a statement. “My For the Fans Act would stop this exact scenario and prevent Wisconsin families from being forced to pay for Netflix just to watch the Packers play this Thanksgiving.”

Games played on other streaming sites, or even the NFL Network, have been made available to fans on local television, but Netflix remains an exception.

NFL ANNOUNCES THAT INAUGURAL THANKSGIVING EVE GAME BETWEEN PACKERS AND RAMS WILL BE STREAMED ON NETFLIX

A few years ago, the NFL realized Black Friday could be an option for fans to gather around their televisions, and it found another as hometown bars will be packed the night before the big holiday.

The NFL has dipped its toe into holidays, also becoming the new king of Christmas.

Netflix holds the rights to five NFL games in 2026, including the league’s first-ever game in Australia. The streaming service will have five regular-season games as well as the NFL Honors through 2029. It had been carrying two games on Christmas Day since 2024.

While Netflix’s push into live sports has drawn some criticism, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said the strategy is not aimed at securing full-season rights packages for any sports league.

“We’re not bidding on whole season of sports, including the NFL,” Sarandos told FOX Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” on Tuesday. So far, Sarandos’ comments have held true with Netflix prioritizing marquee events, including Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and the New York Yankees’ opening-day shutout of the San Francisco Giants.

Trump-Xi accord on Iran elusive as US president’s China trip winds down | China

0

Donald Trump has claimed that the US and China “feel very similar” about ending the war in Iran but offered no details about a possible breakthrough.

The US president was speaking alongside Xi Jinping of China at the Zhongnanhai garden in Beijing on the second and final day of the leaders’ summit.

“We did discuss Iran,” Trump said. “We feel very similar about [how] we want it to end. We don’t want them to have a nuclear weapon. We want the straits open.”

He added: “We want them [Iran] to get it ended because it’s a crazy thing there, a little bit crazy. And it’s no good, it can’t happen.”

There is much speculation about how much pressure the US is putting on China, the biggest buyer of Iranian oil, to use its leverage with Iran to encourage the country to reopen the strait of Hormuz. And there is a question mark over whether or not Beijing would be willing to accede to that pressure.

US trade representative Jamieson Greer said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Friday that the Chinese “don’t want to be on the wrong side” on the Iran issue. “It’s really important for China to have the strait of Hormuz open,” Greer said.

Earlier, the US secretary of state, Marco Rubio, said the US hoped “to convince [China] to play a more active role in getting Iran to walk away from what they’re doing now and trying to do now in the Persian Gulf”.

But in an interview with NBC News on Thursday he downplayed the idea that the US was seeking support from Beijing. “We’re not asking for China’s help. We don’t need their help,” Rubio said.

China’s foreign ministry on Friday again called for a ceasefire in Iran and said the strait of Hormuz should be opened “as soon as possible”.

About half of China’s crude oil passes through the waterway, but the bigger threat for the Chinese economy is if the conflict in the Middle East causes a global recession that dents demand for its exports.

But many in Beijing feel that the crisis in Iran is not China’s responsibility.

Zhou Bo, a retired senior army colonel and a senior fellow in the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University, said: “On Iran, China definitely wants to help but I read what Rubio said: he actually seems to shift the burden to the Chinese side. In China, we have a saying: it is like, ‘Why should I clean your shit?’”

The White House readout of the more than two hours of talks between Trump and Xi on Thursday said the leaders “agreed that the strait of Hormuz must remain open to support the free flow of energy” and that “President Xi also made clear China’s opposition to the militarisation of the strait”.

But Trump raised eyebrows during a TV interview when he suggested that finding Iran’s enriched uranium was primarily for show after Israel demanded it as a goal.

“I just feel better if I got it, actually, but it’s – I think, it’s more for public relations than it is for anything else,” the US president told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

The Chinese readout of Thursday’s meeting just made a brief reference to the “situation in the Middle East”.

Chinese state media rapidly published a flurry of articles echoing the language of “constructive strategic stability” that was part of the Chinese government’s readout of Thursday’s meeting. The Xinhua news agency said that the term meant “harmony without uniformity and seeking common ground while reserving differences”. The concept is “full of wisdom and demonstrates responsibility”, Xinhua said.

Trump, for his part, has revelled in Chinese hospitality and flattery. He was heard saying on his way into the tea room at the Zhongnanhai garden that Xi was giving him roses for the Rose Garden, according to a White House pool report.

“This has been an incredible visit,” he said as the men sat together in an opulent wood-panelled room with a huge golden carpet. “I think a lot of good has come of it. We’ve made some fantastic trade deals – great for both countries … we’ve really done some wonderful things, I believe.”

Trump added: “We’ve settled a lot of different problems that other people wouldn’t have been able to solve.”

He told Fox News that China agreed to buy US oil, soybeans and 200 Boeing planes. But on key issues including Taiwan, there seems to have been little by way of concrete agreement.

Instead, Xi and Trump spent Friday morning “pausing to admire the ancient, vigorous trees and colourful roses in the garden” of Zhongnanhai, Xi’s residence, according to the official Chinese readout.

The readout said the two sides “reached important consensus on maintaining stable economic and trade relations”, but it did not elaborate.

“The two sides also exchanged views on some regional hotspots,” the readout concluded.

Julian Gewirtz, a former director for China on the national security council during the Biden administration, said the new Chinese formulation about US-China relations was about “locking in this current phase of strategic stalemate for the remainder of Trump’s term and ideally beyond”.

“Xi Jinping has been working for years to be ready for this moment, to bring an American president to Beijing as a peer, widely acknowledged as such around the world. And now it is happening,” Gerwirtz said.

Wu Xinbo, a professor of international studies at Fudan University and a Chinese government adviser, said the balance of power between the US and China was “shifting towards greater parity”.

“In the past, it always seemed as though the United States held the upper hand, constantly exerting pressure on China and taking the offensive. Now, however, it’s fair to say that the two countries have reached a new point of equilibrium,” Wu said.

At a busy intersection near Trump’s hotel, the crowds that gathered to catch a glimpse of the presidential motorcade were thinner on Friday morning than on Thursday evening, with the heavy police presence encouraging people not to loiter. Many grumbled about the inconvenience caused by the repeated road closures.

Asked for their views on Trump, the word that came up again and again from Beijingers was “unpredictable”.

“What he says isn’t necessarily what it means,” said one Trump-watcher, who declined to give his name.

Middle East Conflicts: Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Friday (May 15, 2026) has given a big statement regarding India’s role amid the ongoing conflict and tension in West Asia with America and Israel. He said that India can play an important role in establishing peace in the region. We appreciate any positive and constructive role of India.

Pointing towards the peace talks hosted by Pakistan, he said that we did not get any benefit from the peace talks held in Islamabad. We could not reach any agreement because America was continuously adopting a pressure stance and was repeatedly changing its goals. He also said that anything could happen only if Iran’s concerns were addressed.

What did the Iranian Foreign Minister say about India??

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who came to attend the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ meeting held in New Delhi, said in a press conference on Friday (May 15, 2026) that we appreciate the Indian government and all those countries who condemned the attack on us and showed solidarity.

He said that India has relations with many countries of the world, but the most important for Iran is the relation between India and Iran. We attach great importance to our relations with India. Relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect and common interests. He further said that if India wants to purchase fuel from Iran, then Iran is ready to provide energy resources to India.

Iran does not trust America at all – Araghchi

He said that Iran has always believed in diplomacy. We want to give diplomacy a chance. There is no military solution to this.

He said that we have always responded to diplomacy with diplomacy, but the truth is that we do not trust America at all. We cannot trust America. He said, ‘We have every reason not to trust America, while America has every reason to trust us.’

He further said, ‘Last time also the attack was carried out after five rounds of talks, after which the war continued for 12 days. The same was repeated this time also. This is why it is very difficult for us to trust America.

Insecurity situation in the Strait of Hormuz US Because of- Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said regarding the Strait of Hormuz that Iran never wanted nuclear weapons. We have said many times that we do not want nuclear weapons and it is not a part of our policy. Our nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes.

He said that as far as Iran is concerned, the Strait of Hormuz is open, provided the ships passing through it do not belong to countries that are involved in the fight against Iran. He claimed that Iran helped Indian ships pass through the strait safely, but the situation of insecurity in the region has arisen because of America.

Trump’s eyes on Xi Jinping’s notebook! A picture of Beijing meeting created a stir in the world

The entire world was watching the meeting between US President Donald Trump and China’s President Xi Jinping in the grand Great Hall of the People in Beijing. A picture that came before the conversation between the two leaders is now the most discussed. It was seen in the picture that President Xi Jinping gets up from the table and leaves, then President Donald Trump bends slightly and opens Xi Jinping’s notebook and takes a look at it. During this time, the American Foreign Minister is seen silently watching all this.

Keeping an eye on world politics and economy
This meeting between Trump and Xi Jinping is being considered very important, because trade, global tensions and strategic issues are to be discussed between the two countries. From outside the atmosphere appeared friendly, but inside many such issues were discussed which can decide the direction of world politics and economy.

Xi Jinping said – the world is at a new turning point
At the beginning of the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping described the current situation in the world as a ‘new crossroads’. He said that the biggest question is whether China and America can rise above the so-called ‘Thucydides Trap’. He said that ‘Thucydides Trap’ is a situation when an emerging power challenges an existing great power and this increases the risk of conflict. Xi Jinping said, ‘We should not be opponents, but partners. We should help each other succeed and move forward together.

Air Force One lifted off after U.S. President Donald Trump wrapped up his visit to China where he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week.

The visit between the two leaders occurred amid the ongoing U.S. conflict with Iran, as America continues to conduct a blockade against the Islamic Republic.

A White House release about a meeting between Xi and Trump read, in part, “The two sides agreed that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open to support the free flow of energy. President Xi also made clear China’s opposition to the militarization of the Strait and any effort to charge a toll for its use, and he expressed interest in purchasing more American oil to reduce China’s dependence on the Strait in the future. Both countries agreed that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.”
