The Supreme Court bench passed an important order today in the case related to Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) companies. The court directed CBI and ED to conduct a fair and impartial investigation in the alleged banking fraud case involving Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group companies. The court said that both the investigating agencies have already sought time on this Public Interest Litigation (PIL) alleging banking fraud. In such a situation, they will have to file a reply in the court within four weeks.

The Supreme Court, while seeking the report of the investigation and action taken so far from CBI and ED, said that ED and CBI have already taken a lot of time to investigate the role of ADAG group companies in this fraud case. The court also gave 4 weeks time to Anil Ambani and ADAG to file their reply.

The victim told that she had a love marriage with Saurav, a resident of Shankarpur, 10 years ago. He has 2 children. A 5 year old son and a 3 month old daughter. The woman said that now she will never take such a step. She will work hard to support her children.

On what basis was the ranking done?

In this index, 154 countries of the world were examined on four main grounds, which are as follows:

• honest and clean governance
• social well-being of people
• environmental protection
• responsibility towards the world

The report revealed that despite having a big economy, many countries were left behind. America has got 66th position and China has got 68th position. This makes it clear that merely having money or power is not the mark of responsibility. Pakistan is at 90th place in this list.

Europe ahead, conflict countries behind

Many European countries are high on this list, which shows that there is special attention being paid to governance and social responsibility. At the same time, the situation of countries struggling with war and crisis remained weak. Syria was ranked 153rd and Yemen 151st, which are at the bottom of the list.

According to the report, India has done good work in health services, social equality, environment related schemes and policies made keeping people at the center. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced sweeping plans at the World Government Summit in Dubai to hold social media executives criminally liable and curb platform algorithms, prompting a sharp and profane response from X owner Elon Musk.

Under the plan, Spain would first amend its laws to hold platform executives criminally liable for failing to remove illegal or hateful content, exposing executives to potential prosecution.

Fourth, Spain will ban access to social media for children under 16, requiring mandatory age-verification systems that Sánchez said must function as real barriers, not simple check boxes.

“Today, our children are exposed to a space they were never meant to navigate alone,” Sánchez said, describing social media as a realm of “addiction, abuse, pornography, manipulation [and] violence.”

Finally, Sánchez said his government will work with public prosecutors to investigate alleged violations by Grok, TikTok and Instagram, vowing zero tolerance and warning that Spain would defend its digital sovereignty against foreign interference.
