Amidst the increasing tension in West Asia and the changing global security situation, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a high-level meeting on Tuesday to review the country’s defense preparedness. Recently, on March 22, a CCS meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which the energy and fertilizer supply was reviewed.
Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi and DRDO Chairman Sameer Kamat and other senior officers were present in this meeting. During this, the current security situation and operational preparedness were discussed in detail.
The ongoing conflict in West Asia has now reached its fourth week. This has affected trade through the Strait of Hormuz. Tension increased further after the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in joint strikes by America and Israel on February 28. In response, Iran targeted American and Israeli bases in the Gulf region, which has increased pressure on the international energy market and global economic stability.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday described the situation in West Asia in the Lok Sabha as worrying and informed about its possible effects on India. He said that this conflict has become a big challenge not only for economic and national security, but also at the humanitarian level. The Prime Minister also underlined that India’s major crude oil and gas needs are met from this region, while this region is also very important for global trade.

The war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran entered its 25th day on Tuesday, as conflicting claims emerged over possible peace talks.
US President Donald Trump said Washington was holding discussions with Tehran and suggested a broader agreement could be reached, but Iranian officials rejected the claims, accusing the US of trying to buy time as it deploys more forces to the region.
Trump also ordered the US military to postpone planned strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for five days.
Meanwhile, Iran fired a new missile barrage at Israel, Gulf countries reported repeated drone and missile interceptions, and fighting intensified in Lebanon and Iraq.

Amidst the conflict in West Asia, Iran’s Ambassador to India Dr. Mohammad Fatahali gave a big statement on Tuesday. Mohammad Fatahali said that India can play an important role in reducing the ongoing tension in West Asia. He said that India, being a major power in the Global South and having a balanced foreign policy, can make an important contribution in establishing peace in West Asia.
There is a continuous shortage of LPG in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. Long queues are forming at the gas agency since 7 am in the morning, despite this people are not able to get gas on time. Elderly women and men are also forced to stand in queues for hours. People say that even after several days they are not getting gas.
Since morning, a crowd of people is gathering in front of Hare Krishna Indane Seva Gas Agency of Shamli to book gas. People say that they have booked gas online many days ago and also have the DAC number. But, cylinders are not being given to them from the agency and warehouse.
People alleged that the agency employees are asking the consumers to get a private slip, only then they are talking about providing gas. This is the reason why people who come to get gas are forced to make rounds for several days one after the other. Some people say that even after 10 to 15 days they have not received the gas.
The biggest problem is being faced by the elderly and women, who have been waiting in queues since morning. The situation becomes even more difficult amidst the heat and crowd. People alleged that when they go to the warehouse, they are sent from there to the agency and from the agency they are again being sent to the warehouse.
Sunita, an elderly woman, said, “We have been standing in the queue since 7 in the morning, the number has not come yet, we are facing a lot of trouble, we are not getting gas.” Another youth, Ajju Arya, said, “It has been 15 days since I booked the gas but I have not received the cylinder yet, every time they say something new.”
Now anger is also being seen among the people regarding the gas crisis. On Monday, a commotion-like situation broke out in front of the agency, after which the police had to reach the spot and control the situation.
While the sudden rain in Delhi-NCR in the month of March provided a cool breeze of relief from the scorching heat, this changing weather has also raised many new questions. As much as this pattern of weather is comforting, it is equally shocking that why did it start raining like this in March?
In the age of social media, it doesn’t take long for questions to be raised, and answers start emerging even faster. Some are linking it to climate change, while others are calling it artificial rain. Also, some users on social media have linked it to the alleged solar geoengineering experiments of Bill Gates. But experts have called these claims wrong. Different claims, different arguments on every platform, but it has become more important than ever to understand what the truth is.
In a viral video on social media, it is being claimed that chemical particles are being released into the atmosphere through aircraft. According to these claims, this process is being done to cool the earth by blocking sunlight. It was also said in some posts that such experiments can damage the ozone layer and cause sudden changes in temperature. Many users have linked these claims to Bill Gates’s foundation and called them part of “climate testing”.
Solar geoengineering, also known as solar radiation management, is a scientific concept. Its purpose is to reduce the Earth’s temperature by sending some of the sun’s energy back into space. This technology is still completely experimental and has not been implemented anywhere on a large scale. Scientists are studying it only as research, and not for actual weather control.
Scientists have proposed several methods for this, such as stratospheric aerosol injection. In this, particles like sulfur dioxide are released into the upper atmosphere, which reflect sunlight. Another method is marine cloud brightening, in which marine clouds are made more reflective. However, all these methods are still limited to theory and small-scale studies.
The technology behind this is Albedo Effect, in which the whiter any object or surface is, the more it reflects the solar rays. That means it sends it back.
According to experts, solar geoengineering can affect rainfall patterns, especially in monsoon-dependent countries like India. This may affect agriculture, water and ecosystem. Furthermore, there are no global regulations governing this technology. Scientists have warned that if such experiments are stopped suddenly, the temperature could rise rapidly, which is called “termination shock”.
According to meteorologists, the recent rains in Delhi-NCR are completely due to natural reasons. The main reason for this is an active Western Disturbance, which has brought rain and cold winds to North India. After snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, cold winds reached the plains, causing a drop in temperature. Strong winds, dust storms and rain are part of this system.
This sudden change affected normal life and many flights had to be diverted. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert and warned of winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 50 km per hour. Officials have advised people to exercise caution as the weather remains unstable.
Overall, solar geoengineering is a real scientific research, but it is still in its early stages and is not capable of controlling regional weather. There is no scientific evidence to link Delhi’s recent rains with any climate experiment. it’s completely natural Season The result of the system, and not of any man-made intervention.
