US President Donald Trump has given a big statement regarding the West Asia crisis and Iran. Trump warned that we will destroy them (Iran). He clearly said that he will not allow Iran to make nuclear weapons at any cost.

What did Trump say?
According to Trump, at present the situation is completely under his control. He praised the work of the US Navy and described it as a wall of steel. Trump said that the Navy has laid such a strong siege that no one is able to cross from there. Due to this, all the work of Iran has come to a standstill and they are suffering huge losses.

Trump further said that the people of Iran are now very desperate for a compromise. Now it has to be seen whether they are able to reach an agreement that is acceptable to America. Trump expressed confidence that if they do not agree now, they will have to agree to our request very soon.

US President claimed
Trump claimed that Iran’s military power is now exhausted. They have neither aircraft nor radar or anti-aircraft systems left. Their missiles have also been completely destroyed. Trump even said that all the leaders of Iran are dead, hence America has won this war. He informed that very good talks have taken place in the last 44 hours and there is every possibility that a major agreement will be reached soon.

“What an unbelievable honor… To have a president that’s willing to go against an upstream and against the norms is truly special. That’s why you got my vote. And, it’s why we’re such a great nation right now compared to where we were,” Gaethje said.

Gaethje also credited Trump for UFC’s popularity today, saying they’d be “10 years behind” if it wasn’t for Trump’s support in the early 90s while UFC was struggling to be a mainstay due to its violent nature.

Trump announced the event on July 3 last year, and UFC CEO Dana White confirmed the event the following month. It was announced in October that the event would take place on June 14, Trump’s 80th birthday as well as Flag Day.

The event is part of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and an IndyCar race will also take place this summer as part of the America250 celebration.

A critical Palo Alto PAN-OS zero-day is being exploited in the wild

Attackers are actively exploiting a zero-day vulnerability affecting some Palo Alto Networks’ customers’ firewalls, the security vendor said in an advisory Tuesday.

The critical memory corruption vulnerability — CVE-2026-0300 — affects the authentication portal of PAN-OS, and allows unauthenticated attackers to run  code with root privileges on the vendor’s PA-Series and VM-Series firewalls, the company said.

Palo Alto Networks did not say when or how it became aware of active exploitation, nor when the earliest known exploitation occurred. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency added the defect to its known exploited vulnerabilities catalog Wednesday.

The company hasn’t released a patch for the vulnerability or described the scope and objective of confirmed attacks.

“This vulnerability is specific to a limited number of customers with their User-ID Authentication Portal (Captive Portal) exposed to the public internet or untrusted IP addresses. We have observed limited exploitation of this issue and are working to release software fixes, with the first updates expected to be available on May 13,” a Palo Alto Networks spokesperson told CyberScoop.

The company said firewalls exposed to the buffer-overflow vulnerability, which has a CVSS rating of 9.3, are broadly exposed in real-world deployments, and it described the attack complexity as low.

Shadowserver scans found more than 5,800 publicly exposed VM-Series firewalls running PAN-OS as of Tuesday, yet it’s unknown how many of those instances have restricted authentication access to trusted internal IP addresses or disabled the feature altogether.

“We have provided clear mitigation guidance to our customers to secure their environments immediately. This issue does not impact Cloud NGFW or Panorama appliances. We remain committed to a transparent, security-first approach to protect our global customer base,” Palo Alto Networks’ spokesperson added.

Benjamin Harris, CEO and founder of watchTowr, noted that Palo Alto Networks proactively alerted customers to the zero-day, a step that allowed defenders to take action on potentially exposed instances.

“In a bad situation, that is the best they can do immediately. However, that also alerts everyone to the existence of a vulnerability,” he told CyberScoop.

Despite the risk, Harris said watchTowr expects attacks linked to the zero-day exploit to be “very limited.”

Palo Alto Networks and its impacted customers remain the only parties to have observed exploitation in the wild, but researchers warn that will likely change soon.

“It’s likely rules will also start to fire in third-party organizations and honeypots shortly,” Caitlin Condon, vice president of security research at VulnCheck, told CyberScoop.

“Management interfaces, login pages, and authentication portals have been common adversary targets for both opportunistic and targeted campaigns in recent years,” she added. “With researcher and community eyes on the vulnerability, it’s likely that we’ll see public exploits and broader exploitation quickly, provided the issue isn’t prohibitively difficult to exploit.”

Palo Alto Networks has yet to attribute the attacks to any known threat group, publish indicators or compromise, nor disclose the type of organizations that have been targeted and impacted.

Researchers are hunting for malicious activity and advise customers to apply patches upon release.

DC police officers suspended over alleged crime stats manipulation

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

President Donald Trump warned nearly a year ago that the District of Columbia may have been reporting “fake crime numbers” when he deployed the National Guard to the nation’s capital.

Now, the Metropolitan Police Department is embroiled in scandal, as 13 officers have been placed on leave, with some already undergoing termination, according to MPD Interim Chief Jeffrey Carroll, as an ongoing probe into alleged manipulation of statistics unfolds.

“Our Internal Affairs Bureau has completed an investigation into crime reporting,” Carroll said. The MPD did not immediately respond to a Tuesday request for comment. “This investigation was reported — it was referred to us earlier this year from the United States Attorney’s Office.”

Senior officials, including an assistant chief and district commander, are among those being scrutinized, according to reports.

DC POLICE ACCUSED OF MANIPULATING CRIME STATS AS FEDERAL PROBE FINDS THOUSANDS OF MISCLASSIFIED CASES

Trump received heavy blowback from District officials and Democratic lawmakers for dispatching the Guard to the area after declaring on Truth Social that “DC gave fake crime numbers in order to create a false illusion of safety.”

Trump claimed that until the Guard arrived, Washington was the least safe city in the U.S. “and perhaps the world.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for further comment, while House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer took credit for the developments leading up to the suspensions.

“These terminations are a direct result of the Oversight Committee’s work exposing dangerous efforts by DC Police leaders to artificially lower crime rates,” Comer, R-Ky., said in a statement.

Meanwhile, several Democrats, including those in the District, have lambasted Trump for his actions.

Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., slammed the White House in August, saying the president’s use of federal law enforcement within her city is a “disproportionate overreaction” and “offensive.”

Council members on the District Council — where there are no Republicans — called Trump’s behavior off-base and extreme.

District of Columbia District Attorney Brian Schwalb also sued the feds for an “unlawful attempt to take over [MPD]” and the Justice Department’s Home-Rule order to the District in that respect.

Schwalb’s office said in a statement at the time that Trump had no right to supplant then-chief Pamela Smith, with the AG adding that his actions represented a “hostile takeover.”

“The Administration is abusing its limited, temporary authority under the Home Rule Act, infringing on the District’s right to self-governance and putting the safety of DC residents and visitors at risk,” Schwalb said, further calling the move the greatest threat to the District’s “home rule” provisions of self-governance.

In a profane response a month later to the Guard’s presence, Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., declared Congress would never provide consent to Trump’s actions in Washington.

“No f—ing way,” he said in response to a question on extending the National Guard’s tenure.

Schumer called Trump’s move an attempted distraction from the Jeffrey Epstein files saga.

Fox News Digital reached out to Schwalb, Holmes-Norton, Schumer, the White House and the MPD for comment.

A representative for Schwalb acknowledged Fox News Digital’s inquiry and said the attorney general’s office would respond soon.

Meanwhile, the MPD’s union boss welcomed the news, saying his members “warned that this toxic culture of coercion, fear, and corruption left thousands of cases uninvestigated, denied victims justice, gaslit residents, and endangered public safety.”

“Forensic teams were not dispatched, evidence went uncollected, detectives were never notified, and dangerous criminals walked free. All while the public was fed falsified Daily Crime Report (DCR) numbers,” Gregg Pemberton said.

Al-Qaeda-linked fighters storm Mali prison, block food supplies to Bamako | Conflict News

0

Fighters attack ‘Africa’s Alcatraz’, which detains high-value prisoners, and disrupt crucial supply chains to the capital.

In a new wave of attacks in Mali, an al-Qaeda-linked group has stormed a main prison housing fighters from the armed group and set fire to trucks with food supplies heading to the capital Bamako.

Fighters from the Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) group stormed the Kenieroba Central Prison, a recently built complex dubbed “Africa’s Alcatraz”, located about 60km (37 miles) southwest of Bamako, Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reported on Wednesday.

The detention centre houses 2,500 prisoners, including at least 72 inmates considered “high value” by the Malian state, Haque said, adding that Malian armed forces were repelling the attack.

Among the prisoners are JNIM fighters and a number of people arrested following large-scale attacks last month by the group’s fighters and Tuareg separatists, the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA).

The fighters attacked several military bases across multiple cities, including areas where senior government officials live, and took control of the northern city of Kidal in a coordinated offensive on April 25 and April 26, which struck at the heart of the West African country’s military government.

One of those attacks killed Malian Defence Minister Sadio Camara and his family in their home in Kati, a garrison town near the capital. On Monday, the leader of the country’s military government, Assimi Goita, took on the role of defence minister. At least 23 others were also killed in the attacks.

Since then, “there has been a wave of arrests of former and current military officers, members of civil society, lawyers, members of the political opposition – all accused of colluding with al-Qaeda fighters,” said Haque, who has been reporting for years on and in Mali. He added that fighters linked to the armed group were also arrested.

Security sources told AFP news agency that opposition figures Mountaga Tall, Youssouf Daba Diawara, and Moussa Djire are among those “abducted”.

According to family members and security sources who spoke to the agency, Tall, a lawyer, was taken on May 2 in Bamako by hooded men on charges of plotting with opposition figures in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, to overthrow the military government. Since his arrest, Tall has been questioned at least once for “attempted destabilisation”.

The security sources said Diawara and Djire were suspected of links with, respectively, the influential imam Mahmoud Dicko and Oumar Mariko, two opposition figures in exile. At least two other civilians who are close to Mariko were also arrested following the attacks, a judicial source told AFP, without giving further details.

The military prosecutor’s office said on May 1 that it had “solid evidence” of the “complicity” of certain military personnel, accusing them of helping with the “planning, coordination and execution” of the attacks.

In a report published on Tuesday, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said there have also been “gravely concerning reports of extrajudicial killings and abductions, allegedly carried out by members of the security forces” following the attacks.

The violence has set off fighting across Mali’s vast desert north, raising the prospect of significant gains by armed groups that have shown an increasing willingness to strike neighbouring countries.

JNIM has called on Malians to rise up against the government and transition to Islamic law. The group has also pledged to besiege Bamako, and on Friday, it had reportedly set up checkpoints around the city of four million.

Haque said the blockade has the potential to cause a humanitarian disaster.

“These are al-Qaeda fighters that have pointed 12.7mm machine guns on their motorbikes, stopping any outgoing or incoming traffic,” the correspondent said. “We have seen on social media these fighters stopping food trucks trying to enter the area. This blockade is not just affecting people living in Bamako; it’s affecting people throughout Mali.”

On May 3, the mayor of Diafarabe village, in the Mopti region, called on the authorities to act before people started dying of hunger, as the village had run out of food.

Influencer Clavicular faces charges in Florida tied to alligator shooting video | Florida

0

A controversial social media influencer known as Clavicular is facing charges in connection with a live stream showing him shooting an apparently already dead alligator in the Everglades, local Florida media has reported.

Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters and is known for the practice of “looksmaxxing”, faces charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place or residential property, according to legal files obtained by television station ABC6 in South Florida. The charges stem from his alleged actions in a 26 March live stream.

The charge reportedly carries a potential fine of $1,000 and possible jail time or probation, per WFLA.

The Florida fish and wildlife conservation commission responded to the livestream with a statement on X, noting that it was “aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator” and that officers were “looking into the incident”. They did not name Peters.

An attorney for Peters told People about this week’s charges: “Our client has been summoned to appear for a misdemeanor charge that stems from following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide. He relied on that guidance. No animals or people were harmed. We are confident that once the full picture is understood, people will see this for what it is.”

Two other people also charged in the incident are Andrew Morales and Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres. Morales is known on social media as “The Cuban Tarzan”.

Looksmaxxing is when someone seeks to “maximize” their physical attractiveness by often extreme measures such as steroids, surgery and intense exercise.

Clavicular, who has been the subject of numerous in-depth media profiles and TV appearances in recent months, is one of the most high-profile looksmaxxers who has burst into more mainstream fame. He has been involved in a series of controversies, including livestreaming himself apparently running over a pedestrian with a vehicle and being filmed chanting the lyrics to Kanye West’s Heil Hitler in a nightclub with the self-styled “misogynist influencer” Andrew Tate.

In March, Peters was arrested in Florida on battery charges. The Osceola county sheriff’s office had asked Fort Lauderdale police for assistance in arresting Peters, who investigators accused of instigating a fight between his girlfriend, 24-year-old Violet Marie Lentz, and another 19-year-old woman in February at a Kissimmee short-term rental.

According to the sheriff’s office, Peters and Lentz are suspected of involvement in an attack on the woman. Authorities alleged he later posted the violence on social media to exploit the two women, NBC Miami reports.

In a statement to ABC6, Morales’s attorney, Richard L Cooper, said: “We urge the public not to rush to judgment. Importantly, there is no allegation that any animal was injured.”

California man convicted in $4M COVID-19 test kit fraud scheme

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

A federal jury has found a California man tied to a controversial underground biolab guilty of orchestrating a multimillion-dollar COVID-19 test fraud scheme, prosecutors said.

Jia Bei Zhu, 64, a Chinese national, was convicted on all 12 counts following a two-week trial in Sacramento, including conspiracy, wire fraud, distributing misbranded medical devices and lying to the Food and Drug Administration, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Zhu used his Fresno-based company, Universal Meditech Inc. (UMI), to sell more than one million faulty COVID-19 test kits across the United States, raking in nearly $4 million at the height of the pandemic.

“This verdict holds the defendant accountable for actions that exploited a public health crisis for his own gain,” U.S. Attorney Eric Grant said in a statement. “He … deliberately deceived the public by repackaging low-quality, foreign-made test kits at a time when accuracy and reliability were critical.”

Additional charges have been filed against Jia Bei Zhu, 62, operator of the Reedley Bio-Lab, and his partner, according to the Department of Justice. (KMPH)

Authorities say the tests were falsely marketed as FDA-approved, made in the USA and produced in certified laboratories — claims that prosecutors say were entirely fabricated.

According to evidence presented at trial, Zhu and his associates imported cheap COVID-19 tests from China, then repackaged and resold them under false pretenses. Many of the kits were missing basic components and, in some cases, did not work at all, victims testified.

Employees told jurors they were instructed to lie to customers and feared retaliation if they refused. Many of those workers had no medical or scientific background and were recruited from unrelated jobs, including retail and childcare.

THERANOS FOUNDER ELIZABETH HOLMES’ PROSECUTOR SAYS FRAUDSTER’S CASE OFFERS WARNING TO SILICON VALLEY LEADERS

Federal investigators say the operation was driven by deception at nearly every level, from misleading online marketing to false claims made directly to regulators.

“The defendant’s scheme … undermined public health during a critical time,” said FDA Special Agent in Charge Robert Iwanicki.

Zhu had previously drawn national scrutiny over his connection to a now-shuttered warehouse in Reedley, California, described by officials as an illegal, makeshift biolab that raised alarms about potential biohazards.

The Reedley facility previously drew scrutiny after local and federal officials found lab materials, mice and improperly stored substances, though officials later said the materials tied to this case did not pose a risk to humans.

However, authorities emphasized that the criminal charges in this case were not directly tied to the biological materials found at that site. Federal agencies, including the FDA, CDC and FBI, ultimately determined the materials were part of a failed attempt to manufacture COVID-19 tests and did not pose a threat to the public.

Prosecutors said UMI’s Fresno facility itself lacked the ability to manufacture COVID-19 tests and was described as an unsanitary warehouse that fell far below established standards.

Prosecutors say the pair attempted to dodge scrutiny by relocating their operation and rebranding the company under a new name, but the effort failed as federal investigators closed in.

In one instance, Zhu allegedly lied to federal agents about his identity, claiming to be a different person who had recently arrived in the U.S.
