Maharashtra State Examination Council has issued detailed rules regarding the TET exam to be held on June 28. Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has made it clear that female candidates will have the freedom to wear hijab, burqa or dupatta during the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), but will not be allowed to wear any cloth above the neck.
According to officials, the state TET is to be held on June 28. In the instructions issued earlier by the Council, it was said that wearing hijab, burqa, mask or cap will not be allowed during the examination, due to which the female candidates had sought permission from the Council.
Permission given with condition for wearing burqa
Female candidates can wear any cloth, dupatta, Odhni or burqa. However, to ensure that the faces of all candidates are clearly visible in the live CCTV, it has been directed that there should not be any cloth covering the neck, ears, head or face/mouth in the classroom during the examination.
You will not be able to wear shoes in the classroom
It is said in these rules that wearing shoes will not be allowed in the classroom. Those taking the exam will have to wear slippers, sandals and other light shoes. Similarly, only one answer to each question will be correct. The option once chosen cannot be changed, no marks will be given on such answers.
Council’s preparations completed before the exam
The Examination Council has made complete preparations for the TT examination and special care has been taken to ensure that there are no irregularities during the examination. Similarly, the Examination Council has issued a detailed list of rules that candidates should follow while coming to the examination centre.
