Within just 2 hours, the police has made a shocking revelation about the brutal murder of Dalit farmer Ramprasad (60) that took place on Monday in village Morna of Bhopa police station area of Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Angered by the father’s repeated taunts about the difference between son and daughter and staying at home, his two daughters together carried out this hair-raising incident. Police have recovered the blood stained knife and clothes used in the murder and arrested both the accused sisters.
According to the information, Ramprasad’s body was found in a blood soaked condition in his house on Monday morning. The attackers had brutally slit his throat and also stabbed him several times with a knife in his stomach. When the police, SOG and field unit arrived under the leadership of SP Rural Aditya Bansal and thoroughly interrogated the family members, they found contradictions in the statements of the deceased’s 32-year-old daughter Komal and 16-year-old minor daughter. After strict interrogation, both the sisters confessed to their crime.
father often taunted
The accused daughters told the police that their father often taunted them that they were sitting idle at home and were getting defamed in the society due to their not getting married. Fed up with their father’s daily ‘stopping’ and insulting taunts, the two sisters had planned the murder two days in advance. When there was another argument with the father late on Sunday night, in a fit of rage both of them attacked him with knives and killed him. After the incident, he tied the blood stained clothes and the knife in a bundle and hid them in a pile of straw, which was recovered by the police on his information.

SP Rural Aditya Bansal said that elder daughter Komal (32) and her minor sister, who is an intermediate student, together carried out this murder. The police successfully solved the murder and took both of them into custody. The elder daughter is being sent to jail, while the process of sending the minor to a juvenile home is being completed. This incident has shocked the entire district by tearing apart the dignity of relationships.
