After the Bhojshala complex located in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh was declared a temple, worship started here on Saturday. There is an atmosphere of happiness on the Hindu side after the Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court gave its verdict on the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula dispute. After the decision, a large number of devotees reached the Bhojshala premises and worshiped as per the rituals.

Puja took place for the first time after the High Court’s decision

On Saturday morning, devotees gathered in the Bhojshala premises along with officials of the Bhoj Utsav Committee. Worship was performed here with full religious rituals. During this, devotees also recited Hanuman Chalisa. After the decision of the High Court, this is considered to be the first puja in the Bhojshala premises.

The administration appeared completely alert during the puja in the Bhojshala premises. A large number of police forces were deployed in the campus and surrounding areas to deal with any situation. Police and administration are continuously monitoring the situation.

High Court considered Bhojshala as a temple

Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court in its decision declared the Bhojshala complex as a temple and gave the Hindu side the right to worship there. The court gave this verdict on petitions in which there was a demand to hand over the Bhojshala premises to Hindus and to stop the Muslim side from offering Namaz in the premises.

On Friday, the division bench of Justice Vijay Kumar Shukla and Justice Alok Awasthi also canceled the old order in which the Muslim side was allowed to offer Namaz in the Bhojshala premises.

The court said – the religious form of Bhojshala is the temple.

In its decision, the court said that the disputed area of ​​Bhojshala complex and Kamal Maula Masjid is a protected monument. The court clearly said that the religious nature of this disputed complex is that of Bhojshala, where the temple of Goddess Saraswati is situated. The court also acknowledged in its decision that historical literature and available evidence proved that this place was a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. Besides, this place was also known as a major center of Sanskrit education in ancient times.
