Congress MLA from Lakhnadon Yogendra Singh Baba narrowly escaped being a victim of a major road accident on Thursday. His car caught fire after hitting the boundary wall of a roadside school on the Seoni-Jabalpur road. The MLA is safe in the accident, while the driver and gunman are injured.
According to the information, MLA Yogendra Singh Baba was going towards Jabalpur. Meanwhile, a cow suddenly came on the road. In an attempt to save the cow, the driver turned the vehicle, due to which the car went out of control and collided with the boundary wall of a school located on the roadside.

After the collision, the vehicle caught fire and within some time the car was engulfed in flames. During the accident, the car was locked from inside, due to which the situation became more serious. However, the local people present at the spot showed promptness and took out the MLA, gunman and driver safely in time.

Driver Anu and gunman Raju Dhurve were injured in the accident. Both have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The MLA was also taken to the hospital for medical examination as a precautionary measure, where his condition is said to be normal. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. Some people also made videos of the accident, which are becoming increasingly viral on social media. Police reached the spot and started investigation. In the preliminary investigation, the reason for the accident is said to be the sudden arrival of a cow on the road.
