On the 32nd foundation day of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced 7 new corridors to be built under Phase-5 (B). 65 new stations will be built in this total 97.158 km long project and its cost is estimated to be around Rs 48,204.56 crore.

Expansion

Delhi Metro is once again preparing to give more speed to the city. There are preparations to reach those areas by rail, where till now the journey has been long, slow and tiring. Under Metro Phase-5 (B), 7 new corridors and 65 stations will be built, which will be about 97 kilometers long. This will have a direct impact on the everyday life of millions of passengers. There will be shorter journey times, less traffic and more reliable connectivity.
