Meerut News: Anger flared up due to fear of house demolition, crying women and traders staged a protest in the Central Market

The protest by traders in the Central Market of Meerut has now intensified. The strike, which started after the order of the Supreme Court, has taken an indefinite form on Saturday (April 11). The situation became such that during the demonstration, tears were clearly visible in the eyes of women and fear on their faces.

This time, women from businessmen’s families also participated in the protest in large numbers. She was seen crying and holding posters in her hands. Questions like whether the house will be destroyed or where will we go made the atmosphere very emotional. Many women were seen sitting in protest with their small children, which made the situation seem more serious.

Businessman fainted, chaos ensued

During the strike, suddenly the health of a businessman deteriorated and he fell unconscious. This created a stir on the spot. The people present nearby immediately handled him and gave him water, after which he regained consciousness. After this incident the concern of the people present there increased further.

Earlier, traders had protested by putting up posters outside their houses like “Exodus” and “House is for sale”. They say that first their business was affected and now their homes are also under threat of action. Due to this, they are facing the crisis of both livelihood and shelter.

Accusations against the government and the department

The traders participating in the protest raised slogans against the government and the Housing Development Department. They allege that the Supreme Court order is being implemented without proper investigation, due to which the common people are being troubled. Traders say that action is being taken without giving them enough time.

In this whole matter, President of Hindu Security Organization, Sachin Sirohi has announced to take out a padyatra from Meerut to Delhi on 15th April. He said that if the demands are not accepted then the movement will be intensified.

At present the situation in the Central Market remains tense. Traders are continuously sitting on strike and protesting with their families. No concrete solution has yet emerged from the administration, due to which people remain worried.
