
More than 30 employees got burnt in a horrific accident that took place on Monday evening in a private company in Mujesar area of Faridabad, Haryana. Metal sheet cutting work is done in the company, for which CNC machines are installed. In the evening, when the employees were working, there was a sudden explosion in a chemical drum kept there. After this, several drums started exploding one after the other, causing a fire and creating panic among the employees.

Details of the accident and rescue operations
According to the information received, the employees in the company were doing their work on Monday evening. Meanwhile, suddenly a drum exploded. The explosion also engulfed other drums kept nearby, causing many more drums to burst. More than 30 employees got burnt due to this explosion and fire. As soon as information about the incident was received, police and fire department teams immediately reached the spot. Rescue operations were started and the injured were immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital and nearby private hospitals, where they are undergoing treatment. Police are investigating the matter as to what caused the blast.

Questions on investigation and security
This incident raises serious questions on industrial safety standards. The way several drums burst one after the other, it seems that there were major flaws in the security system in the company. Negligence regarding the storage and safety of chemicals used in metal sheet cutting work could be the reason for this accident.

Investigation orders given
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the administration has ordered a high-level investigation. Reply has also been sought from the company management. The administration says that strict steps will be taken to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future and security checks of all industrial units will be conducted. Instructions have been given for better treatment of the injured.

Fire brigade and police personnel also got hit
About 20 ambulances have reached the incident site. Ravi, an ambulance driver, said that police personnel and fire department personnel were also injured. All are undergoing treatment at BK Hospital. Many of them are seriously injured.
