10 year old innocent Divya Sharma died due to the collapse of a mud wall in a tragic accident that took place on Saturday evening in Parvatiya Colony, Faridabad, Haryana. Meanwhile, two other children buried under the debris have been taken out safely. The girl’s mother also suffered injuries in the accident. The woman is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. After the incident, there was chaos in the entire area and a large number of people gathered at the spot. As soon as the information was received, police and local people got involved in relief and rescue work.

According to eyewitnesses, children of the colony were playing near the wall. Meanwhile, suddenly the wall collapsed and the three children were buried under the debris. Hearing the screams, nearby people reached the spot and immediately started trying to remove the debris and rescue the children. Local people allege that the wall which led to the collapse of this accident was dilapidated and unbuilt for a long time. A large amount of sand was piled on its support, which put additional pressure on the wall and it suddenly collapsed.

Police station in-charge Hukam Singh said that the police had reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the girl died due to suffocation. The cause of death will be confirmed after the post mortem report comes. He said that after receiving the complaint from the family members, a case will be registered and action will be taken.

Ballabhgarh-Sohna Road Jam
After the accident in Parvatiya Colony, local people blocked the Ballabhgarh-Sohna road. Along with this, they allegedly protested by reaching the shop of a building material businessman. Saran police station reached the spot after receiving the information and pacified the people and cleared the traffic jam.

These people came under the grip
According to the information, suddenly a weak wall collapsed, due to which the sand kept along with it also came down. Divya Sharma (10), Anshika Tiwari (12), Khushi, Srishti Sharma and Sheetal were buried under the debris. Local people immediately started relief work and informed on dial-112. With the help of Parvatiya Colony police station, fire brigade and JCB, everyone was taken out of the debris and taken to the hospital.
