- Accused arrested in police encounter, weapon recovered.
The police has revealed the sensational murder case of Priyanka Rakwar in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh within just 24 hours. When his wife came to know about the love affair of the main accused, she left him. On the other hand, due to his girlfriend’s marriage being fixed somewhere else, the lover along with his friend killed her. After the encounter, both the accused are now in police custody.
There was a lot of anger among the family members regarding this incident, due to which the police acted swiftly and soon arrested the accused. The deceased was also to get married in July.
What is the whole matter?
The dead body of a girl found in the deserted forest of Subhash Nagar area on April 14 had shocked the entire district. The deceased was identified as Priyanka Rakwar, who was to be married on July 8. Solving the mystery of this murder was a big challenge for the police, for which SP Shashank Singh fielded four teams including SOG and Surveillance.
Accused caught within 24 hours
Within just 24 hours, the police came face to face with the murderers who had committed this crime. During the siege, suspects riding a bike opened fire on the police. In retaliation, police bullets hit the legs of main accused Sumit Singh and his associate Dharmendra, after which both of them were caught. The story that came out during the interrogation surprised everyone.
Both had a relationship for many years
Sumit, resident of Mawai Khurd, had an old love affair with Priyanka. Sumit got married during the ongoing love affair but when his wife got wind of this illicit relationship, discord started in the house and his new bride left him. Sumit felt that his house was ruined because of Priyanka. Meanwhile, when he came to know that Priyanka’s marriage has also been fixed somewhere else, his anger reached the seventh sky. With the intention of taking revenge, Sumit killed his friend. Dharmendra Together with him, he called Priyanka late at night on the pretext of meeting her and brutally murdered her by strangulating her with a white towel.
Weapons and bike also recovered
Priyanka’s brother is a constable in UP Police, but the criminal’s obsession with her did not let her fear this. The police have recovered the towel used in the murder, the mobile phone of the deceased, two pistols and the bike used in the crime from the accused. Apart from this, two pistols and cartridges have also been recovered from them.
Treatment of both continues
Both the murderers, who were injured by police bullets, are undergoing treatment in the district hospital. This quick and bold action of the police has given a strong message to the criminals. At present, the police is carrying forward the investigation on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence.
