According to the information, a scene of shouting and destruction was seen today at Dak Bungalow intersection of Mahoba city. The fire that suddenly broke out in the kiosks and shops located here took a huge form. Resentment among people against fire department
There was tremendous resentment against the fire department among the local people and shopkeepers. People allege that despite giving information, fire brigade vehicles arrived late by about half an hour. Due to this delay, the fire became so severe that a small gas cylinder kept in a shop caused a massive explosion, causing panic among the people. This fire has taken away the livelihood of many poor families.
Ankita, who runs a food shop, says that her entire family used to survive from this shop. By the time she reached the spot with her husband, her shop was burnt to ashes. The victimized shopkeepers say that their savings and all their belongings were lost in the fire.
The victims appealed to the administration for compensation.
According to local resident Pradeep, some people cook food on the stove in the Dak Bungalow grounds located behind the shops, it is feared that the spark from there caused this accident. However, investigation into the exact cause of the fire is still ongoing. After about two hours of hard work, the fire brigade personnel completely brought the fire under control. Now the victimized shopkeepers have appealed to the administration to survey the losses and provide appropriate compensation so that they can start their lives again.
