BJP announced candidates for four of the seven Rajya Sabha seats from Maharashtra. The party has nominated two more people, including Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde, as its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections.
According to a party press release issued by the BJP central office in New Delhi, the party’s Central Election Committee has approved the candidature of Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Maya Chintaman Evenate and Ramrao Wadkute for the Rajya Sabha elections.

Vinod Tawde
Vinod Tawde is a well-known name in the country’s politics. He is currently the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has played an important role in formulating the election strategy of the party.
