Sonam Wangchuk arrived in Leh this morning, where she was warmly welcomed by a large crowd at the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport. After this he was given a grand welcome ceremony at the NDS ground, where he was honored by the local people and officials.
Sonam Wangchuk described her welcome as memorable and said that this participation and enthusiasm of the people will always inspire her. Topics of regional development, education and environmental protection were also discussed in the ceremony.
