Regarding security arrangements on International Labor Day, the police has said that tight security arrangements have been made in the entire district. Along with this, intensive monitoring is being done through drones and CCTV cameras at important places including industrial units and major intersections.
Section 163 imposed from 1 to 8 May
According to an official statement, Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, 2023 (which prohibits unlawful assembly of more than five people) has been imposed from April 30 to May 8 to maintain law and order. Strict action will be taken if these are violated.
Teams deployed in sensitive areas
Apart from this, the police also said that teams have been deployed at major industrial units, multinational companies, small industrial clusters and other sensitive places, while mobile patrol units are keeping a constant vigil.
