New revelations are continuously being made in the case of the death of businessman Ketan Aggarwal in Pune, Maharashtra. Now FIR has been registered in the matter. Many such allegations have been made in the FIR lodged by Ketan’s father, which has given a new twist to the entire case. According to the FIR, fiancee Sia Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary have been accused of conspiring to murder Ketan.
Are serious allegations made in the FIR on Sia Goyal’s behaviour?
Ketan Aggarwal’s father Vishal Devichand Aggarwal has claimed in the FIR lodged with the police on June 23 that Siya Goyal was behaving abnormally for some time. According to the family, Siya used to get angry over small things and often quarreled with Ketan. It has also been said in the FIR that after the cancellation of the visit to Lohagarh Fort on June 4, Siya became very angry and was continuously insisting on going there. The family alleges that Sia had put pressure on Ketan regarding this trip.

Was Ketan taken to Lohagarh on the pretext of birthday?
According to the FIR, on the night of June 17, Sia called Ketan on WhatsApp citing her birthday and asked him to go out the next day. Initially Ketan’s mother Rakhi Aggarwal did not allow this. After this Siya herself talked to him and convinced him. On the morning of 18th June, Ketan left the house and reached Lohagarh Fort with Siya near Kiwale bridge on Pune-Mumbai highway. At around 10:45 in the morning, Siya called Ketan’s mother and informed her that Ketan had fallen into the ditch. Police and local people took Ketan out of the ditch and took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Why did the family suspect an accident?
Three days after the incident, on June 21, Ketan’s father and other family members reached the spot from where Ketan had fallen. His friends Navdeep Jindal and Tarun Mittal were also present along with the family. According to the FIR, after inspecting the spot, the family concluded that it was extremely difficult for a person to accidentally slip and fall from there. Meanwhile, the family also alleged that Sia’s phone was often busy and she repeatedly mentioned a person named Chetan Chaudhary. Due to this the family suspected a love affair between the two.
Was the murder conspiracy hatched because of a love affair?
The FIR alleges that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary were having an alleged love affair and Ketan was hindering their relationship. For this reason both of them allegedly conspired to murder him. Both have been named in the FIR lodged at Lonavala Rural Police Station and a case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Judicial Code. Ketan’s father told that the two got engaged in February and there were plans for a pre-wedding shoot in Bali on June 6, but the trip was canceled due to the passport not being received on time.
In which direction is the investigation moving now?
Police have said that the investigation of the case is still in the initial stage. Siya Goyal’s younger brother Sahil Goyal has been interrogated for about 10 hours. Now the police has also called Siya’s parents for questioning. Several teams have been formed to investigate the matter. Police officials say that till now the statements of many important people have been recorded and as the investigation progresses, other people will also be interrogated. Police say that all aspects are being investigated in depth.
