
A tragic accident took place in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday (30 April). A major accident took place in the Bargi Dam located on the Narmada River on Thursday, April 30, where a cruise ship filled with tourists sank in the dam. Another body has been recovered in this accident. Due to which 9 people have died so far. The rescue team has recovered 5 more bodies.
22 passengers were rescued by the rescue team. At present, the search for 6 people is still going on for which efforts are on. After the accident at Bargi Dam, the rescue team has recovered a body from the bottom of the sunken cruise ship during the ongoing operation.
Four bodies were recovered by rescue teams on Thursday, and work is now underway to recover one more body. Morning pictures show that the rescue operation after the cruise accident at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur continued overnight and teams are still working at the site.

Rescue operation is going on continuously amid the accident in Bargi Dam. There are said to be 31 people in this boat. In which 6 people have died so far, while 22 people have been rescued. Apart from these, three people are still reported missing, the search for whom is going on.

Actually, 22 people have been rescued safely after the cruise accident in Jabalpur due to strong storm. Search and rescue work for the remaining people is going on war footing.
CM Mohan Yadav expressed grief over the incident
Chief Minister Yadav met Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh and Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi has been instructed to immediately reach the affected area. He has also instructed Jabalpur division in-charge ACS, ADG and local public representatives to reach the spot.
Chief Minister Yadav has approved financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the citizens who died in this accident. He said that in this hour of crisis, the state government stands with the affected families with full sensitivity. All possible assistance is being ensured to the affected individuals and families.
