New Delhi. Ishan Kishan was the biggest hero of India’s victory against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. This left-handed opener played a quick inning of 77 runs in 40 balls against Pakistan. Ishan said that this victory will boost the team’s confidence a lot. He said that he had confidence in himself. Apart from hitting 10 fours and three sixes in 40 balls on a spin-friendly pitch, Ishan established India’s dominance by adding 87 runs for the second wicket with Tilak Verma (25). He was chosen ‘Player of the Match’ for this innings.
After scoring 175 runs for seven wickets, India bowled out Pakistan for 114 runs in 18 overs and won by 61 runs. Ishan said in the awards ceremony after the match, ‘I think the wicket was not that easy in the beginning.
