Indore: Boyfriend murdered MBA student for pressurizing her for marriage, police caught from Mumbai

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light during Valentine’s Week in Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh. An MBA student was brutally murdered by her own lover in Dwarkapuri police station area. The reason behind the murder is said to be an ongoing dispute regarding marriage. Police have arrested the accused lover Piyush from Andheri area of ​​Mumbai.

The matter came to light when residents of a flat in ‘Uncle Gali’ in Dwarkapuri started smelling a strong foul smell. When the police reached the information and opened the flat, the dead body of the girl was found inside in a suspicious condition. Investigation revealed that the girl’s missing report was lodged by her father at Pandharinath police station on February 11. The father had told that on February 10, he had left his daughter near the Collectorate, after which she was missing. The flat where the dead body was found was taken on rent by a young man named Piyush.

The student was pressurizing her for marriage

While disclosing the case, DCP Lal Krishna Chandani said that the deceased and the accused Piyush were in a relationship since last September. The student was pressurizing Piyush for marriage after the consent of her family, but Piyush and his family were not ready for this relationship. There was tension between the two regarding this issue.

Strangled, then posted video in college group

On the pretext of resolving the dispute, Piyush called the student to his flat. There was a heated argument between the two, after which Piyush got angry and killed the student by strangulating her with a rope. The limit was reached when after the murder, the accused made the personal videos of the student viral in the college group with the intention of defaming her.

The murderer was hiding in Mumbai Metro

After committing the crime, Piyush fled from Indore and reached Mumbai. To escape from the police, he continued traveling in Mumbai Metro for two days so that his location could not be traced. However, the police caught him from Andheri with the help of technical surveillance. Indore Police is now bringing him on transit remand.
