Let us know who were the 5 heroes of this big victory of India.
Ishan Kishan’s storm
The biggest hero of the victory was Ishan Kishan, who, while opening, destroyed the Pakistani bowlers. India had suffered a big blow in the form of Abhishek Sharma in the very first over, but Ishaan was seen in his own mood. He started thrashing the bowlers from the second over and scored fifty in 27 balls. Ishaan played a stormy innings of 77 runs in 40 balls, due to which he was able to reach a good total. Ishaan’s innings included 10 fours and three sixes.
Suryakumar scored important runs
In this match, captain Suryakumar Yadav was the second highest run scorer for Team India. After the dismissal of Ishan Kishan, Surya batted intelligently in the middle overs and made an important contribution in taking the team beyond 170 runs. Suryakumar made a good partnership with Tilak Verma. Surya scored 32 runs in 29 balls with the help of three fours. If these runs had not come from Surya’s bat, it would have been difficult for India to reach 150 runs.
Hardik Pandya gave a strong start
Even though Hardik did not bat in this match, he gave an excellent start to Team India in the second innings. Hardik Pandya brought the first over for Team India, which came out to defend the runs. The magic of Hardik’s bowling was seen in the same over, when he showed Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan the way to the pavilion on the fourth ball without opening the account. Farhan’s catch was completed by Rinku Singh. In this way, Hardik gave a tremendous start to India in the second innings. Apart from this, Hardik also took the last wicket. Hardik took two wickets giving just 16 runs in three overs.
Bumrah wreaked havoc
World class pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who came with the second over of the innings, wreaked havoc on Pakistan. He created silence in the Pakistan camp by taking two wickets in the over. The first ball of the over took the upper edge of Sam Ayub’s bat and went for a six, but the Pakistani opener could not survive the second ball. Bumrah made Sam LBW on a brilliant inbound ball. While finishing the over, Bumrah also sent back Pakistan captain Salman Aga, which created a wave of happiness in the Indian camp. Bumrah took two wickets for 17 runs in two overs.
Akshar Patel made two big kills
After the sharp bowling of Hardik and Bumrah, the magic of Axar Patel’s spin worked, which dashed all the hopes of Pakistan’s victory. Akshar first bowled Babar Azam by trapping him. Then he took the big wicket of Usman Khan, which was the last hope for Pakistan. Usman Khan was out after scoring 44 runs. Apart from taking two wickets, Akshar Patel also bowled economically and gave only 29 runs in four overs. Apart from Akshar, Varun Chakraborty pushed India towards victory by taking two wickets in one over. Kuldeep Yadav and Tilak Verma also took one wicket each.
