A sensational case of rape of a minor student on the strength of a weapon has come to light from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The accused raped the student by threatening her and kept her hostage for two days. At present, Varanasi Police has registered a case against the accused in this case and taken him into custody.
According to the information, this case has come to light from Sindhora market under Varanasi Cholapur police station. According to the complaint given to the police, this incident took place on March 13, 2026, when a young man named Robin Yadav raped a minor student. According to the complaint, the accused held the student and her family hostage for two days, threatening to kill them.
‘The student was held hostage for 2 days’
According to the information received by ABP News, a minor girl student was held hostage for 2 days by a youth named Robin Yadav and raped, a video was made and blackmailed that if she told this to anyone, she and her family would be destroyed. The student informed her family about this, after which the family gave a written complaint about this incident to the nearest police station, in this matter the police have registered a case.
Strict action will be taken- Varanasi Police
When ABP News questioned DCP Pramod Kumar regarding the action taken in this matter, he said that on the basis of the complaint received by the student, a case has been registered, and the person is being detained and interrogated, further legal action will be taken.
