In Meerut, Sanjeev Baliyan targeted Sangeet Som without naming him, said – ‘I take it for the insult that happened to me…’

In the Jat conference organized in Sakoti, Meerut, former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan intensified the political stir by giving a big statement. Without taking the name of former MLA Sangeet Som, he said in gestures that he is not going to forget the insult done to him.

Sanjeev Baliyan said from the stage, “I will not let you forget the insult that has happened to me. Even if you forget, I will keep reminding you and if I forget, you keep reminding me.” His statement is being linked to the internal differences going on in the politics of the region.

What did Sanjeev Baliyan say?

Taking aim during the Jat conference, Sanjeev Balyan said that sometimes one has to endure insults whether it is politics or social life. He further said that we had to take two steps back, we had faced such an insult during the elections.

Sanjeev Balyan further said that it is not sad to win or lose the election, but the way the insult was done is sad. He further said that if someone has insulted him then he will have to repay it with interest.

Struggle in state politics

It is being told that this statement given during the Jat conference points towards the ongoing tussle in the politics of Western Uttar Pradesh, where tension among the leaders within the BJP has already been discussed.

Experts believe that such statements can also be a part of the strategy to convey social equations and political messages before the upcoming elections. Sanjeev Balyan has intensified the discussion by giving such a statement during the Jat conference held in Sakoti.
